If i mistakenly freeze my seat that i got in NIT during jossa counselling...Is there any way to unfreeze it for getting slide option for further rounds..
First of all congratulations that you got seat in nit during josaa counseling.
After allotment of seat you have the chance to slide, freeze or float option. Now if you have freeze your seat then that means you have accepted your seat and you will not further participate in josaa counselling.
Even if got mistakenly freeze the seat then also there is no chance that you can unfreeze it.
So, my advice is that accept the seat by paying seat acceptance fees. Because if you do not, then your seat will be cancelled and you will become ineligible to patriciate in further rounds and you will lost even your alloted seat.

Which one is better? Masters in Electronics and Instrumentation at University Institute of Technology, Burdwan University or M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives at Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering College? I am B.tech in Electrical Engineering. Please give the answer as soon as possible
Hello Aspirant,
First of all you should know your field of Intrest before deciding as these both options are totally different categories so it's difficult to say because both have their own benefits.
But if your confused to do Masters in Electronics and Instrumentation or Masters in Power Electronics Device.
Then I would suggest you to go for Masters in Electronics and Instrumentation at University institute of technology, Burdwan University. You could work in various job profiles and obtain great salary packages if compared with Masters in power electronics devices.
So overall I advise you to go for Masters in Electronics and Instrumentation in Burdwan University.
Hope this helps
Good Luck

CSE at nit Agartala VS ECE at Nit Silchar? please suggest me good option among this.
Hi Abhay,
You need to visit the official website for more information. But for your convenience I'm mentioning some of the important point -
Points To ponder:-
- NIT agartala has public/government while Nit silchar is a deemed university .
- NIT silchar offers better placements and infrastructure than NIT agartala.
- Both the NITs has Top class faculty but NIT Agartala's faculty is more friendly.
- According to NIRF rankings 2020 NIT agartala has secured 75th position while NIT Silchar occupied 46th position.
So overall NIT silchar is better for ECE.
scope of ECE branch at NIT Agartala?
Hello
Abhay
, There is a very good scope of ECE branch at NIT Agartala and 94% placement percentage is there with average package of 6.5 lakh and 10 lakh highest package in btech and 15 lakh highest package in mtech.
So, I think its good for ECE.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
I got 5130 sc rank and have been allotted nit agartala mechanical (other state) in round 1 and closing rank for nit patna mechanical engineering is 4814 (other state).can i get nit patna in 2 round josaa counseling?
As you have secured 5210 rank in sc category, then congratulations that you get nit agaratala mechanical engineering in round 1 of josaa counseling.
Now as your preferred college is nit patna, then there is a chance that before round 5 counselling, you can get nit patna. As you said that the cutoff closing rank for round 1 is for mechanical engineering ( for other state candidates) is 4814, then according to me you should get mechanical engineering in further rounds.
Because as per seeing the last year's rate of increase of cutoff closing ranks for mechanical engineering in nit patna, there is a chance that this year also due to the increment of cutoff closing ranks, you can get nit patna.
So, you must use float option. You previously alloted seat will remain with you and if you get mechanical engineering in nit patna, then you can switch to it.

Hi debayansen! Firstly congratulations for you bagged a seat in a reputed NIT. The civil placement rate was 29.32% last year. Only 38 students got placed in companies like L&T etc. The civil placements are not very great and the highest package offered to them was approx of 6.75 LPA. So proceed accordingly.
This year in Josaa counseling After paying seat acceptance fee, are the documents like 12 Marksheet etc need to be uploaded online or do we need to go to reporting center where they check the documents??
Hi Aspirant!
According to official guidelines by JoSSA counseling you do not have to upload the documents after paying seat acceptance fee. After paying the seat acceptance fee you have to download the provisional letter and then report at the reporting centre with all your official certificates with two xerox copy of all the documents needed.
