The academics in NIT Agartala, I'm totally unsure of. As to what I found out when I was researching about colleges for my own purpose, north eastern colleges are a little bit neglected. That's what I read from sources. And even take into consideration the commute to NIT Agartala. That's all I have got to say about the college as I don't have any exposure to it.

Coming to the branch, which is the most important thing than the college brand tag, choose it in accordance with your liking only. Even civil engineering is good when you do justice to it. Don't take CSE because you find a few handful of guys getting a crore package. Branch defines your future rather than the college tag, choose it wisely.

And finally, IIIT NR. One word, Great. The motivation, the workshops and the events make your life fun. Yes, the campus is new and there is a lot to develop as well. And the best thing is, exponential advancement. For instance, they have made an MoU with a Malaysian technology giant, Magic. Such things will be witnessed in even greater pace in the future. And IIITs are the best place to pursue your CSE interest rather than in an NIT as the syllabus is far more advanced. Their seniors are doing interns at prestigious foreign universities in their second year itself.

NIT Agartala is known as one of the best NIT college amongst the other because of its good faculty and infrastructure.

Placement offered in NITA for ECE is far better than any other colleges and the placement offer in the college would be minimum of 95%. Mostly the IT company offers the placement here upon their eligibility and performance.

The highest package would be minimum of 15 to 17 lakh per annum.

The average package is 5 to 6 lakh per annum.

If you choose slide or float option in josaa counselling and if you have got civil in first round of josaa then you will loose the seat which you have got in first round but you need not worry as you will definitely get a seat in furthur rounds.

Mock seat allotment takes place to make it easier for you to understand the procedure of counselling and what colleges you can get into. So, generally whatever college you get alloted in mock allotment you'll get it in your round 1 allotment as well for the most part. Chances of you getting the same allotment are really good.

NIT Agartala is an old and established institute while NIT Manipur and Meghalaya are new not even a decade old, which means they have issues like campus, infrastructure, alumni, active clubs etc. No doubt, they are promising but NIT Agartala is certainly a better choice but branch also matters.

NIT Agartala has a T&P cell to organise the placement sessions for the students. The institute makes sure that they can help most of the students getting placed into various companies by helping them in every possible way.

The median salary is around 5.5 lpa.

NIT Meghalaya has released the placement data for the year 2019 wherein many companies participated in the recruitment drive. Check the NIT placement statistics of the Institute that includes number of job offers, average salary offered and some top recruiters:

There is gym in NIT Agartala. But, being a college gym there won't be much facilities. There are 4 cardio machines, about 6 pairs of dumbbells, 5 pairs of plates, 2 plain rods, 2 curl rods, 1 pair of dumbbell rod, 3 flat benches, 1 incline and 1 decline bench, 2 smith machines, one all in one machine.

NIT Hamirpur also has a college gym. Also there are smaller gyms in some hostels.

But overall college gyms are not much facilitated. If you want to have serious workout routine, better  find one outside the campus.
