Hello,
If you are from Meghalaya state, then you can get a seat in NIT Meghalaya for almost all branches through home state quota. But if you are from outside Meghalaya, then you have quite less chances of getting a seat in NIT Meghalaya.

You need to accept the seat and choose the float option. In the second rpund the choices filled by you which were above the seat you got in 1st round will be considered for councelling and if you get a seat from among them your seat of 1st round will be automatically removed.

Could you kindly share your quota. Mostly if general quota, getting colleges through JOSAA would be tough. However, the same cannot be said if you are OBC or SC, ST.

It ll depend on the cut off and moreover this year cut off is expected as 90 for general category, for ST's mostly it ll be 30-40

To get a seat.in any NIT candidates has to appear inJee mains exam with a sc ore of atleast 90 percentile of marks for general candidate.But for EWS candidates the percentile of marks in jee mains is 85-80 percentile of marks in jee mains for below category NIT like NIT Goa,NIT Hamirpur,NIT Agartala,NIT Srinagar,NIT Nagpur,NIT Silchar,the rank required for these NITs mentioned above within aiq 30,000.As you have the rank of 28,000 in jee mains so you have a chance for admission in any of the NITs among 31NITs in India.

I am Delhi resident and OBC-NCL , my CRL rank is 133402 in jee mains . Is there any chance of getting any lower NIT with any branch ? please Inform

Hello Nikhil Your CRL 133402 at this rank there will be very less chance to get NIT college but if you want GFTI college then there will be a chance to get a GFTI College and also I will suggest you to participate in home state government college counciling there you will get good college
