Hostel facilities in NIT ,raipur are above average but hostel rooms are less in quantity and one has to maintain a higher marks to apply for the hostel as only 30 percent of the students get hostel due to less availability of rooms.
mess food is below average. Hostels are too cheap they charge 35k ( approx) yearly including mess fee.

If you wish to compare the two options based on the colleges then clearly NIT raipur is much better than NIT srinagar in terms of infrastructure and placements it also has the advantage of a better location and also has better ranking but if you prefer IT branch and are not getting it in any other reputed college then you can go for NIT srinagar. Mostly National institute of technology Raipur has removed it uploaded cutoff for masters in geology for the year 2018. Maybe it might be the university choice not display their last years cutoff. Mostly their engineering courses cutoff are only available right now. So I would advise you to directly contact the university or email them if possible and get the information from them itself. Or else you will have to wait till the 2019 cutoff is released.
