NLU Sonepat is the newly established National Law University and the track record of the Institute is not available right now since the current lot who will be securing their seat with the Institute will be the first batch. The city of Sonepat is a good city and even Jindal Global Law School is at Sonepat therefore it is expected that the Institute will be providing quality education.

Since you belong to general category,according to previous year trends,all the good NLU's had a closing rank of about 1200 and the NLU's closed at a max of 376.(general rankl)

So after seeing the results of the 2 rounds ofcounselling of CLAT 2019,it will not be easy for me to tell you whether you will be gettting a seat in further rounds or not,but i think if you can wait till the spot round,you can have the following choices:

• DSNLU,Vishakhapatnam(closing rank-Round2-1080)
• MNLU,Nagpur(closing rank-Round2-1073)
• MNLU,Aurangabad(closing rank-Round2-1167)
• NLUJAA,Guwahati(closing rank-Round2-1104)
• HPNLU,Shimla(closing rank-Round2-1225)
• DNLU,Jabalpur(clsoing rank-Round2-1263)

So,with this rank you will not be able to make into the top most NLU'S of India,but you can get a seat in the above mentioned colleges if you wait till the last/spot round counselling.

So,always keep high hopes,you might get something you never expected.
