As you will be knowing that CLAT cutoff has been released by the Consortium of NLUs on June 14.The cutoffs were released soon after the CLAT 2019 results were declared.
CLAT 2019 cutoff is basically the minimum score/rank at which aspirants will be offered admission in different colleges accepting CLAT scores/ranks.
Factors effecting CLAT cutoffs:
- Difficulty level of the exam
- Total number of seats on offer

Answer laterCan I get NLU with 2361 rank in CLAT 2019.
The cut off for admission in any of the National Law Universities through CLAT in the previous year was a rank in the range of 1600 for the general category. Considering that your rank is 2361, you do not seem to have any chances for any of the National LawUniversitiesif you belong to the general category.
Usually there are vacancies in the lower NLUs and sometimes even Middle tier NLUs as people leave their seats for other colleges. You might have a fair chance then. But vacancies are very uncertain and you might/ might not have a chance. Also, if you have other optiona various non NLU law colleges and even private colleges are better than the lower tier NLUs. So you can prefer joining those instead of waiting for vacancies. As far as the last allotment lists are concerned your chances aren't much.
Other than colleges with their own entrances, There are various Private Colleges that accept CLAT scores other than the National Law Universities. You might even have a chance for colleges under IPU, Delhi if you applied there.

all top NLU (it will be little tough you are from general category) . So you
have very high chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling else
last round counselling is all yours :)
yoU are a general candidate (for
reserved category it will be much easier) As per previous year cutoff and
trends you will definitely get assured seat in tier 2 NLUs Though it will tough
for getting seat in top ones still you have hope and you have to wait till last
round for getting top colleges .
AIR 21555 and AIR SC 708... score 77.75 have a domicile of UP...can I get RMNLU or any nlu in 3list or in vacant seats..

Hi Prakash,
National law Universities are prestigious universities which opens many gates for their students. Getting in an NLU is an achievement in itself. Since, they are such high ranked law schools, their cutoffs are also expected to go high.
This year's 1st and 2nd merit lists have been released, but with these marks you don't have much of a chance of getting in NLU. If you really wish to get in NLU then you should give CLAT next year and score high enough to get in NLU. Otherwise you can check out other colleges except NLUs.
