Other extra fees are more in Amity such as mess fees,Hostel fees, Admission fees, etc while NLU have very less fees.

Can I crack clat in one and half months with lot of hard work and grab a sit in NLU jodhpur with some knowledge of each section and with
Hey.
CLAT has a lot of competition where people start preparing 1-2 years in advance. But it os not impossible to crack it in a few months. You'll be able to do it if you work smartly amd hard.
The Syllabus of CLAT includes a total of 5 sections. Here is the section wise syllabus of CLAT-
1. General Knowledge and Current Affairs- 50 questions for 50
2. Legal Aptitude- 50 questions for 50 marks
3. English- including Comprehension questions 40 for 40 marks
4. Logical Reasoning- 40 questions for 40 marks
5. Elementary Mathematics-20 question for 20 marks.
General Knowledge - The GK Section includes both Static GK as well as current affairs. For gstatic general knowledge you can refer to the Concised size Pearson or the Arihant’s guide. For current affairs, you will have to put the most effort as it would cover a large part of your score and there is a lot to do.
The Hindu is the newspaper preferred by various CLAT Aspirants which you can read fot the last 2 months. It not only builds a strong base for General knowledge but will also help you in your verbal ability section. There is a site called GK today.in which you can go to for current affairs. They have daily quizes based on current affairs which has been proved very usefull for CLAT preparation.
English - You will come across various words while reading the newspaper too, prepare a list, go through them regularly and try to use them in sentences. You should read the Editorial section of the Hindu for your Reading section as well as Vocabulary section of CLAT. For the reading section practicing your sample questions while timing it would prove usefull.
Mathematics - The weightage of the maths section is very less in CLAT. Also the syllabus included elementary level of Mathematics. Hence, material of CLAT possible will be sufficient .
Logical Reasoning and legal aptitude- practice these questions from your CLAT possible material only. And also use the previous year question papers and sample papers too while timing it. Similar questions are repeated each year.
Make sure that you go through the past year question papers and practice them along with sample papers. This will help you to have an idea about how to attempt the paper, the level of questions for each section, and how to manage your time well.
Best of luck!
What benifits taking admission in nlus. And minimum score in clat to get admission in nlu
Hi Pratik,
National Law Universities are premier government run law institutes which is often approved by BCI as well as UGC. NLUs have built a brand over the years and the tag often helps one in the future. While the higher NLUs are very well reputed, have the best facilities and infrastructure, the lower NLUs are still in the nascent stage and are thus struggling. However, considering the past it can be said that NLUs grow at a faster rate. Apart from being cheap in their fee structure (as compared to other private law universities), many a times some corporate private organisations give a higher edge to students from National Law Universities.
In order to secure a seat in a NLU via CLAT, you will have to score the basic minimum of the cut-off which is sparingly different every year (depends upon the cut-off), different for every NLU, also different for every category. However, in the 200 mark paper, it is always good if you keep your score above a basic 130-135. But this is not a standard rule, it changes every year.

2018: 1167 [tentatively]
2017: 1023
2016: 1038

Accordingly the cut-off for 2019 is expected to be around 1023-1167 [tentatively] for 2019, in order to secure admission to NLU-O. To know more about the exam and cut-off of different colleges keep reading up at Careers 360 using the link given below https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-cutoff
Maine 2018 me B.com complete kiya hai Mujhe 3 Year ka LLB NLU se krna hai. Tho kis NLU me 3 year ka llb hota hai aur isme kise admission le?
Hey
No, you cannot pursue a 3 year LLB course from any NLU. You can get admission in NLUs through CLAT which provides admission only into a 5 year Integrated course of law which combines an Undergraduate degree with law, for example- BA LLb, BCOM LLb, BBA LLb etc. NLUs dont provide 3 year law courses.
As you have completed graduation in bcom a 3 year LLb degree is more suitable for you. You can apply for admission to a 3 year LLb course while you are in your final year or after completion.
Your admission will be based on your score in the entrance tests. There is no common entrance, each college has its own entrance. Few of the entrances for a 3 year law course are-
DU LLb- Delhi University
MH CET- GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune and other law colleges in Maharashtra PU LLB- Panjab University,Chandigarg
TS LAWCET- Law colleges in Tamil Nadu
BHU LLB- Banaras Hindu University.
BVP LLB- Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University
LSAT- Private Law colleges like O.P. Jindal Global Law school, IIT Kharagpur etc
You can apply for these and you'd be eligible to take admission only if you score the minimum qualifying percentage in your UG degree which is usually 45-50%.
