NCERT Books and PYQs Enough for Jee Mains?
Dear student,
NCERT books can be useful for only few subjects if I have tell particularly then then they are good for Inorganic chemistry organic chemistry and few chapters of physical chemistry. And in maths u have to solve whole ncert exercise and miscellaneous questions too and solving PYQs and giving mocks can give you edge.
But in physics the NCERT is not so useful so solving any of the books exampler or solved question or exercise one and two along with PYQs can help you. In physical chemistry u can refer few well known books solve it's first two exercise and u will be having command by solving PYQs.
Hope this information helps you. And all the best for the journey ahead...

Hello aspirant
Hoping you are doing good. As you must be knowing to become an IAS officer you have to clear three stages of exam that is prelims mains and interview.
Now the first step to start for the preparation of an upsc cse exam to make your basics clear and to clear it you need to be very good in all your previous classes mostly in the social studies one.
So study thoroughly all the ncert books of social studies as they will be helping you so much. Start from class 6 and do upto class 12 and after that you can do standard books.
That will be very easy for you.

Is it possible to crack the jee mains with NCERT books
Hey there!
NCERT books cover complete syllabus of JEE MAINS exam.
If you will study with ncert, it will help you to covcover complete syllabus and solve your doubts.
And speaking of JEE MAINS exam, they ask some high level questions.
For that, you can practice ample amount of previous year question papers.
Also give some mock tests.
These are enough.
And if you want to study for Advanced exam, study for specialized books like H.C. Verma Physics, O.P. Tandon Chemistry and others.
Hope it help!
if I read only ncert books for neet can I score above 675 marks
Dear candidate,
As one must have heard multiple times, NCERT books are the bible for NEET aspirants. Quite so much so, they are extremely important for the preparation of the exam.
FOR BIOLOGY : One does not need to refer to any other book except the NCERT Biology of class XI and XII. Learn every diagram, every labelling apart from the normal text. Out of 100 questions from biology (90 of which are to be attempted), one will find 96-97 questions right from the lines of the NCERT.
FOR CHEMISTRY: NCERT is again extremely important for inorganic chemistry. One must study inorganic chemistry from NCERT like studying biology from NCERT. Every statement is important and inorganic chemistry questions are directly from the lines of the NCERT.
For organic chemistry, NCERT is very important as all the concepts are well explained there. And even all the examples also. So again, organic chemistry is also extremely important.
For physical chemistry, one can use NCERT as a reference and at least red through all the examples well. For the practice of numerical however, you can use other books based on strictly NEET pattern.
FOR PHYSICS: Physics NCERT is good as long as it is used as a reference. All the theory given in Physics NCERT must be learned by heart including theoretical examples. For numerical problems, you can however practice from the other books.
So yes, for scoring 675+, NCERT- all three, are a must. All the best!
is NCERT books enough to clear neet ug
Hope you are doing good
Well for clearing out the concepts and basics the NCERT books are good.
But as we know year by year the standard of NEET exam has been increased and so is the difficulty level so , NCERT books alone won't be enough to prepare and crack NEET to get a good college
You will have to take help from some other books and mock tests in order to crack the exam with good marks.
Hope this helps
Thank you
are there any changes in the NCERT books for the year 2022 in neet
Hello Aspirant,
No there are no any kind of changes in NCERT textbooks of Biology, Physics and Chemistry because the syllabus for NEET is same as of last year and for 2022 it is not yet released but if it hardly makes any change in NEET syllabus then also it would be only from NCERT not from any other book, so you can go with the latest edition of NCERT textbooks for NEET preparation. As this year, even after the reduction in syllabus of various boards there was no change in the NEET syllabus instead some choices had been introduced in NEET 2021 to cope-up the reduction of syllabus of various boards and the NEET 2021 syllabus is given below for your reference :-
