I have put up OBC instead of ST(Scheduled tribe) and paid a obc amount for neet application... When I change it through changing window when its applicable does I get refund amount???
Hi
The Neet application form fee for different categories is given below:-
-----) General :- 1500/-
-----)General-EWS/ OBC-NCL :- 1400
-----)SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender :- 800
-----) Foreign candidate :- 7500
When you change your category, from a category for which application fee is less to a category for which application fee is more . Then you have to pay the extra amount equal to the difference in the amount of application fee for the two categories.
For example,
While changing the category from obc to general.
Extra amount to be paid
=Application fee for general - Application fee for obc
= 1500 - 1400 = 100.
But,
If you change your category, from a category for which application is more to a category for which application fee is less. Then you don't get the extra money you have paid as refund.
So, even if you change your category from OBC to St you will not get your 1400- 800 = 600 as refund.
Anyway,
Your Neet correction window will open on 8th August and the last date to use it is 12th August.
Here's how you can use correction window:-
*Visit neet.nta.nic.in (http://neet.nta.nic.in/)

For the photo ID card required for application for NEET you can use your voters ID, Aadhar ID etc. If you are worried about the photo being old or irrelevant it should not be of concern as you are asked to upload passport size and Postcard size photographs. Hi
I am extremely sorry to tell you but you are not eligible for reservation
This is because,
You belong to OBC creamy layer but reservation is only for OBC non creamy layer.
- Creamy layer OBC candidates are those whose parents annual income is more than 8 lakhs per annum and they are not eligible for reservation
- Obc non creamy layer ithose candidates whose parents annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum and there eligible for reservation

i completed my intermediate in 2021 from telangana board of intermediate education which code should i use in neet application
Hello,
If you have already obtained the results and passed in the qualifying examination then you need to use code 02.
Code 02 is for candidates who have completed 12 years of study under Higher/Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is equivalent to Class 10+2. The last two years of the study must include the following subjects
- Biology/Bio-Technology
- Physics
- Chemistry
- English
- Mathematics or any other elective as a major subject as prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
If you haven't obtained class 12th results yet then you need to select code 01. Code 01 is for candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination or class 12th results are yet to be declared.
Sir, in NEET application, i made 3 error. 1. by mistake i selected code 2 ( only for ICSE and CBSE) instead of code 3 (State board), 2. uploaded signatur in blue ink and 3. passport size photo without date. I need to correct it. Is it possible.pls advise.
Hi
Yes, you can correct all these mistakes using correction window.
If I tell you about codes,
Then it's not like that Code 2 is only for CBSE and ICSE and code 3 for state board.
Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English
You need to choose code 3 only if your board offers puc / intermediate.
Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination in the year with physics, chemistry, biology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology should also contain practical exam.
For example,
Telangana state board i.e Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education offers intermediate while karnataka state board offers Puc.

I typed yes for contrary dress code in neet application, if I wear according to dress code does that cause problem?
Yes, you can wear clothes as per the neet dress code even if you have ticked on the option of customary dress.
Those who take the option of customary dress have to report one or two hour early to the examination centres so that they can be frisked properly but if you wear clothes as per dress code then your frisking will not take that much time .
Moreover,
You can remove/untick the option of customary dress using correction window.
Neet correction window will open on 8th August and the last date to use it is 12th August.
