Students who enquired with NTA has been told to fill code 2 as you have already got your results and you are passed. You are not appearing nor is your result awaited so can't fill code 1.

Aspirants qualifying the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) can be granted admission to state quota seats and private institutes. From every government medical and dental colleges, 85% state quota will be available for the state domicile NEET candidates. While 15% seats from the government colleges will be reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) candidates. The state counselling bodies will also be conducting NEET UG counselling for all seats in private institutes.

NEET registration phase 2 began on the official NTA website on October 1st and is supposed to close by October 10th, 2021.

In NEET phase 2 registration, there are no documents required to be uploaded, NTA has also released an official statement stating the same. In NEET phase 2 registration, you are required to fill some basic information about yourself like your place of residence. You also need to give information about your class 10, class 11 and class 12 results so keep your results handy.

You can also edit your information which you provided in phase 1 registration if required.

Please fill in the registration as soon as possible as 10th October is the last date.

You should fill code 2 if you have passed 12 th exam this year

Here is the list for the codes acc to different qualifications.

Code 1 : This code can be selected by aspirants who will be appearing for Class 12 or waiting for the result. However, students must furnish the relevant documents as evidence of qualifying for the exam after the announcement of the result.

Code 2:

• Candidates who have completed a period of 12 years under Higher/Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is equivalent to Class 10+2 can opt for code 2. However, the last two years of study must include English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, or Mathematics or any other elective as a major subject as prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
• Aspirants who have passed 10+2 from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or state open school, as a private candidate from state boards; with Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject can apply under NEET qualification code 2.

As per the public notice released in NTA NEET 2021 website it is mandatory to fill the second phase application form failing which the candidature of the candidate will gets cancelled. The second phase details can be filled from October 1, 2021 to October 10, 2021 till 11:50 PM. There will be no additional fee to fill the second phase details. Candidates can also correct the first phase details.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon open the NEET 2021 Phase 2 application form process at neet.nta.nic.in. There is no news regarding the phase two registration yet. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. It is difficult to say whether it is cancelled or not as there is no such information regarding it from the NTA. As per the NEET-UG 2021 latest news, NTA has not released the NEET 2021 Application Form phase 2 at neet.nta.nic.in.

No, this is not the first time when NTA is asking for 10th certificate for neet application form.

Earlier 10th certificate was uploaded while filling the neet application itself but this year for Neet 2021  application registration was divided into two phases - Phase 1 and phase 2  and 10th certificate needs to be uploaded in the Phase 2.

NTA hasn't notified about 2nd phase/ part filling yet. The 2nd part/ phase needs to be filled before your neet Result or downloading of neet result/score card , NTA will notify separately later on about phase 2 filling.
