I am getting CS at Jaypee Noida ....And ME/ICE at NSUT ....what should i prefer?
Dear Aspirant,
Firstly see the branch you are getting. Cse is the most preferred branch. If you are getting CSE then don't leave it.
Secondly college if you are getting a good college for CSE branch then go for it but if you are getting any other branch and there are many colleges are good in core branch studies .
Thirdly your choice if you want to study core branch studies then you shouldn't prefer the CSe. But if you want to study CSE then go for it.
Jaypee Noida;-
Placements: The highest package offered was of 39 LPA by Adobe and the average package offered in this course is around 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte. Approximately 90% of the students were placed. The top roles offered are mainly software developer, Data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: In CSE course there are different labs for different subjects like programming labs, database management labs, etc. There is a very huge library too named 'LRC' (Learning Resource Centre) with many hardcover books, E-books, magazines, etc. The hostel is very well maintained and totally hygienic with totally air conditioned 2 seater rooms. The mess food is totally nutritious providing 3 time proper and healthy meal to all the students. There is a small dispensary in the campus with 24/7 ambulance facility. Also there is a basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, swimming pool, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with proper knowledge. Most of the teachers have done their Masters from IITs and other well reputed colleges. The course curriculum is proper as they strictly stick to the core subjects of the course. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it makes all the students completely ready for the professional jobs.
NSUT:-
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed from the first batch of mechanical engineering. However, in the end, all students got placed with the highest salary package of 10 LPA. The majority of students got placed in tech companies. Few mechanical core companies participate in campus interviews. There are no mechanical core internships in our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good only in the student activity centre and some other places but does not function in new buildings and sports complex. There are many labs, but they are not good as you expected. There is a sports complex in a huge area. There are 3 basketball courts, a cricket ground, football ground, 2 tennis courts, 2 volleyball grounds, 1 badminton court, gym and 5 table tennis tables, but balls are not available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable which help students to clarify all their doubts but it does not imply to all the teaching staff. Only teachers of the core branches are good. The teaching quality is satisfactory. But students don't become industry ready for core mechanical companies.

lower branch-like(EE, mechanical, aerospace) in top IIT or top branch like(CS,IT,ECE) in DTU,NSUT,NIT. Which is better?
Hey Vivek,
Let me clear this dilemma first...
No branches can be attributed to as lower or top. If you're considering branches based on placements, then maybe due to the digital revolution and technological advancements that the world is undergoing, CSE at an average provides the best (in terms of compensation) but that doesn't de-value other branches as each has their own needs and importance.
Now, coming to your question, it would be my sincere advice to pursue the branch which excites /motivates you rather than going for branches that offer high salaried jobs because any branch you take, ultimately, it will be your skills and expertise that you develop throughout the years that will decide your compensation.
Now coming to the real-world scenario, if you pursue any branch from the top IITs and work decently well over the 4 years of your engineering, you'll certainly bag best of the jobs available.
So will be the case with institutes like DTU / NSUT / NITs, i.e. if you take CSE, IT or ECE from these institutes, you'll get the best of the jobs.
Therefore, my advice will be to retrospect and understand your calling and based on that make your decision.
P.S. Had your question been CSE / IT / ECE from tier-2 / tier-3 colleges or EE / Mechanical / Aerospace from tier-1 college, my answer would have been the later i.e. always go for a good tier college unless you're really fond of a particular branch.
Hope this helps.
i got 62 percent in pcm and aggregate of 67 percent should i elegible to get admission in dtu or nsut or nit or iit
Dear aspirant,
I'm glad that you want to get into a premier college like IIT, DTU, NSUT and NIT. Unfortunately though, these colleges don't accept your Class 12 Board Percentage. They only accept scores of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Precisely, DTU, NSUT and NIT colleges accept JEE Mains score and IITs accept JEE Advanced score. If you want to take admission in any of these colleges, you need to clear JEE.
Also if you are asking if you are eligible to give the JEE entrance for these colleges, then yes, there is currently no class 12 percentage requirement for JEE Exams due to COVID-19.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

Dear Student,
In DTU if your family income is less than 4.5 lakhs then they will give you the concession in fee amount.
And in NSUT you need to fulfill some criteria to avail the scholarship which are as follows.
- No backlogs with 65% minimum
- If your parents income is less than 1 lakhs then the 100% scholarship to the candidate.
- If your parents income is between 1 lakh to 2.25 lakh then the 50% scholarship of the total fee.

What is the minimum or Safe PERCENTILE for Delhi EWS Candidate to get admission In DTU/NSUT....Pls tell the Safe Percentile..?
Hello,
If you are enquiring regarding admission to B.E/B.Tech in NSUT and DTU then the admission is based on All India Rank in JEE Main through JAC counselling. Each branch has different cut off. Every year the cut off changes as it depends on various factors such as total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. You can check the previous year cut off for JAC counselling using the link given below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jac-delhi-merit-list
Considering the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 95 percentile or above in JEE Main. For that you need to score minimum 180-190 marks or above in the Entrance Examination.
You can use our JEE Main college predictor tool to know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat
