can eligibility criteria would be different of DTU from NSUT ??
Hello,
Based upon your question, yes the eligibility criteria are different for various streams since it completely depends on the individua. For example the courses for B.Tech will have a different eligibility criteria than that of BA and BBA courses.
It would be better if you check out the relevant websites of both the institutions.

mam I have got admission in nsut main campus and I want to know that when I will get my roll no of nsut?? whether I have to go to the college or my roll no will come on my portal???
Hello!
Rather than contacting us here, you must directly contact the NSUT helpline for information regarding your roll no. The campus has not issued the roll no. to us and there is no such information in the admission portal regarding the fact if your roll no. will display in portal. Either they may contact you through SMS or email regarding roll no., be patient. Or consider contacting the B.Tech Admission helpline numbers below, it would be wise as we would not be able to help you much.
Helpline No : +91-9205475102 , +91-9205475103 (during office hours 10 AM to 5 PM)
E-Mail : support@jacdelhi.nic.in (mailto:support@jacdelhi.nic.in)
Hope you are clear!
mam I am sc student and EWS category my family income is less than 1 lakh and my father is a labourer I got admission in nsut for btech course but its fees its so high so I want to ask that can the harijan Kalyan samaj help me in this issue?? I mean that can they give me some money ??
Hi Vishal, in NSIT you can get fee concession on the basis of your father's income. All you need to show is some certificates and proofs. For ex. You will have to show your Annual income certificate of your father, identity proofs, electricity bills etc. They give concession to students whose family income is below 4.5 lakhs.
Also fee concession will be given on the basis of your first semester marks. Every student is eligible for Delhi Govt Merit Cum Means Scholarship. The criteria for the same is that it is not based on reservation but is totally merit based.
Criteria is stated below-
Either a student must have more than 65% and no backlogs.
Or in other considerations are-
1. If the income is less than 1 lac then there is rebate on full tution fees.
2. If the income is bw 1 and 2.5 lacs then there is rebate on 50% tution fees.
3. If the income is bw 2.5 and 5 lacs then there is rebate on 25% tution fees.
Hope this helps.
i secured 87k rank in jee mains in open crl and 10k in GEN-EWS, can i get into nsut/dtu/iiit delhi with gen-ews rank? please reply
Hi.
With 10k as GEN-EWS Rank you can surely get into NSUT and DTU, but branch choice will be based on the fact that whether you are from Delhi Region or Outside Region. However, getting into IIIT Delhi may not be possible with this rank.
If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck.
I passed my 12th from delhi, but I have a obc central caste certificate of up, and I am also in the central list, is it valid for dtu, nsut? or I can make from delhi??
Dear student,
You need to get your caste certificate from the state authorities as dtu and nsit are not centrally governed Institutes, they are in the hands of the state. So your caste certificate of up, whether it is issued by the central authorities or not will not be valid here. So get a caste certificate from delhi.
dtu biotechnology or environmental nsut manufacture process and automation engineering which collage is good... and which branche should i take.
Hello aspirant.
Both Delhi Technological University(DTU) and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology(NSUT) are good colleges, has good placements, both intake admission through JEE mains. But NSUT concentrate on software branches placements comparatively and DTU concentrates equally on every branch for placements. NSUT is ranked 76 by NIRF and DTU is ranked 36 by NIRF. Hence I suggest you go for DTU biotechnology than NSUT Manufacturing Processes and Automation.
Hope this answer helps you.
All the best!!!!

should I take hostel in nsut??? I mean is it good or bad?? I should go for home or hostel??
Hello,
Firstly, I would say that if you do not have a necessity to stay in hostel then opting for home is good. I get that you might think that you will be missing out on all the fun of hostel life but let me just tell you that if it saves expenses plus living in your own home is always better than hostel so you will be making the right choice especially if you don't need it .
Hostel is actually quite good with majority of single rooms, Individual mess for each hostels, 24hrs power supply, decent mess food and hot water geysers.
As I have already mentioned both the options are ok but now it depends on your choice. I would suggest home if hostel is not a necessity.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
