Hi, I scored 139 marks in jee mains session 1 (24 june S1), and then after appearing in session 2 ive got 78 marks , i dont know how but ... after final result Ive recived 2 mails from NTA , it means ive got 2 CRL ranks and 2 categorial ranks.... can youo do please tell me what to do... suicide?
Hey,
You got two results for the two exams you gave for JEE Mains (session 1 and session 2). You don't need to worry about that your marks decreased as the best result is counted for cut-off.
So here your session 1 result will be considered for JOSSA councelling as well as cut-off for JEE Advanced.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.
my nta jee mains score is 29 , what should be the rank
Hey aspirant
Your shift and day of exam plays an important role in determining your rank and percentile. For the above mark your percentile will be between 48-55 depending on the day of exam. For that percentile your rank will be around 4,50,000. Remember this is based on previous year trend. Thankyou
my marks according to the official answer key by nta is 126 out of 300 but my percentile 92.23 shown in results of jee mains session 2 . what can I do now ?
See it is a clear case of rank inflation. When students appear for the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination, Main, most of them are inexperienced and this translates at a higher percentile even for the lower rank. But, when the second session happens, the students know the process and as a result many of them score much higher, due to which even at high marks like 126 you get lower percentile as in your case.
You can check out some good colleges under your category and try to take admission in them if you don't plan to take a drop.
