is the number of girls in department of robotics and automation less in PSG college of technology.are boys overtaking girls in this feild.is it difficult for girls to compete
Hi,
The admission to the course is carried out through single window counseling by Anna University Chennai. Ranking of candidates are based on the total marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. If you met the minimum eligibility criteria then you are eligible for applying to the institute. All the candidates have opportunity to enroll in this course irrespective of gender. If you are interested then you can apply for it. There is no restrictions. All the best.
Can a BE automobile engineer study robotics and automation engineering or even artificial intelligence and ML in ms?
Dear Aspirant,
Yes technically you could study AI in some colleges, but that would be a tough process to enter there. Because for that you have to show what expertise you already have in the field of AI and ML.
For the robotics and automation, you can go for the MS as this will be related to your field. Therefore this would be a good option for you.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
robotics in short with its features
Hello student ,
In sh ort, robotics can be defined as a field that involves the development of machines that does human work. It is a mixture of computer science technology and engineering . So me robots are even capable of simple decision making. Moreover, current robotics research is geared toward devising robots with a degree of self sufficiency. This will permit mobility and decision-making in an unstructured environment.
Today’s industrial robots do not resemble human beings. An android which is basically a robot in human form.
Hope it helps !

with out writing gate exam can i get admission for mtech in robotics and autommation branch
Admission for M.Tech Without GATE:
The option to take admission in a Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme without GATE score.
Sponsored Seats at IISs, IITs and NITs
IISc, IITs and NITs offer regular Master of Technology seats to candidates who have been sponsored by their employers. These candidates dont need to appear for the GATE entrance exam for admission in M.Tech programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
The vital information regarding the eligibility criteria is given below.
Candidates must have completed B.Tech or B.E. with the minimum qualifying marks (vary from institute to institute).
Candidates applying for Master of Technology through sponsored seats must have worked for more than 2 years.
Candidates should have been granted 2-year study leave by their employers.
The employer must take the responsibility to provide financial support for the candidate throughout the 2-year course.
Some of the IITs and NITs may also conduct their written test for admission to M.Tech programmes through sponsored seats.
Hope it helps ...All the best!!!
help me to choose the best topic for aerospace project mentioned below; 1.rocket propulsion 2.space robotics 3.space settlements 4.astrophysics 5.satellites 6.mars manned exploration rover.
hii
it should be all upon you what topic you wanna go for but as my personal opinion i'll suggest you to go for satellite one as there would be all which is currently experienced and all currently under research and also this is much more exciting and the easier one .next you may go for astrophysics and followed by space robotics rocket propulsion and than mars but if you wanna something more new discoveries and purely new than just reverse my order..
thanks
how are the following branches of engineering according to scope and job offers, etc, ceramic, biomedical, biotech , robotics
Dear Aspirant,
These branches are new emerging and developing branch of engineering these are developing as engineers are using their abstract ideas to create better for mankind like robotics multifunctional manipulator , biomedical combination of engineering and health sciences , biotech amalgamates the facts from both Biological sciences and technology, ceramics study of the manufacture, properties, design and uses of ceramic related things. These are developing engineering branches you can get decent job offers and these have plenty of scopes. for better understanding . refer this article

is robotics a separate course?? robotic are in btech or mtech?
Hey there
Robotics is completely an engineering domain. For undergraduate course such as BE or B.Tech candidate must have passed 10+2 from science stream with preferably subjects such as Maths, Biology and computer science and for postgraduation such as M.Tech, aspirants should have an undergraduate degree in engineering with preference for Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Aeronautical, Mechatronics etc.

which is best course ECE or Robotics
Hello Aspirant
Robotics require the knowledge of both hardware and software. Coming to the hardware part, the microcontroller is the heart of the robot and the integration of various components and sensors with the microcontroller matters. Coming to the software part, the code should be dumped into the microcontroller (either .asm or C or python) to control the working of the robot.
Which is better?
The ECE stream gives a good idea and concepts of hardware and software that is required to deal with microcontrollers. You will come across a subject/course on Microprocessors and Microcontrollers that gives the knowledge of integrating hardware with software. The microcontroller along with it's peripherals(hardware components) can be controlled by dumping the code into the microcontroller. The basic languages like . asm, Embedded C that are used commonly as coding languages for microcontroller will be dealt in this subject. And also the concepts of Embedded Systems is dealt as a subject in ECE.
Two options:
If you want to choose robotics as a career option, you can choose either of the two options: software or hardware. You have a lot of career options for both full time software developer and hardware developer. If you choose ECE, you'll get the knowledge of hardware and software part and you can go into any stream in future
Hope it helps
Thank you & Good Luck!!!
