Im a PWD student ....preparing for NeeT 2021 .....Im simply studying from my home (self study ).....it will be my first attempt for neet in 2021 ......Im just attending lectures on YouTube .......so can I get some useful tips about preparation ??

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 1st Jan, 2021

hi,

see if your basic concepts is clear and you have solved a vast questions then your preparation is good even if you have not taken any coaching tutorial. next you have to understand which of the areas is most scoring and have most chances of questions. so analyze the previous years papers and make notes. I also suggest to make short notes of formulas which is best to revise before the days of exams.

besides learning lectures revise the old problems and theory parts. you may follow mtg publications books for practice mcqs.

how to prepare for banking exams? is it necessary to go for Coaching or self study is enough?

S. Saha Student Expert 28th Dec, 2020
Many graduates go for banking sector jobs nowadays. The syllabus of different banking exams are almost same, so you can prepare for different banking exams like - SBI PO, SBI Clerk, SBI SO, RBI Grade B, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, RBI Assistant exam etc. The syllabus usually consists of topics like Reasoning ability, Quantitative aptitude, Numerical Ability, Banking Awareness, English Language and Verbal Ability, Computer Awareness and Current affairs. First get the accurate syllabus. Now you are in the final year as per your previous queries, and it is the right time to start preparing for Banking exams. You need to be familiar with Aptitude. You must work on some numerical section to get a grip on them. Read banking awareness questions and answers. Read newspapers daily to keep the current affairs upto date. It is not essential to get into any coaching centre for Preparation. You need to make a proper study schedule which you'll follow regularly. In this context, RS Aggarwal's Quantitative, Reasoning Aptitude books are the best. pdwords Student Expert 4th Feb, 2021

Hello,

Generally there are weekend classes held in study centre of IGNOU though due to covid pandemic it might be different case now, but the choice of going for a coaching centre or not entirely depends on you, if you choose to enroll in the course and attend the classes, you can clarify your doubts with the faculty, if you feel in spite of this you need more guidance then you may choose to join, and today Internet has made everything more accessible in terms of studies also, if you're struck in any topic or concept , you can search in YouTube channels also, as MCom is for a duration of two years, hence in these two years you have to submit your assignments prior to appearing for Term End Exams, and most importantly, the study materials of IGNOU are very good, they are written in simple and lucid manner, if you go through the study materials, assignments and previous year papers, that's enough in order to score decent marks, you can check out the details of MCom in IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in/upload/programme/MCOM-English.pdf , and if you want to access the study materials, then you can visit egyankosh , you will find the study materials of MCom course in digital format, it's very similar to what students receive in print form.

Sir CA ki self study karni hoti hai

ARYAN SAGAR 24th Dec, 2020
Dear student,

There is no hard and fast rule or any thumb rule that you go to coaching for preparation of CA.
If you think that you can crack the exam with self study then you should definitely go with self study. But the condition is that your Murray di the sthit study in a proper manner or in other words, in a proper guidance. Because there may be a case that you are working lot of hard work and self study but your direction is wrong so, at least the output will be still zero. So, work hard but in right direction or path.

Or you can join coachings for getting a good mentor or guidance and then prepare for CA. So, you can either do self study or do coaching that completely depends on you.
Both of these have pros and cons. So, choose wisely and do what your inner soul says. If you think you can do CA with self study then you will surely succeed.

can a dropper who goes for IIT jee coaching only 8 years would select for iits by offline coaching and self study

Shrishty sahu 24th Dec, 2020
Dear student,
Offline coaching and self study are a great combination to crack jee. Just believe in yourself. There are many students who cracked jee just by self study. You have an advantage of offline coaching even, where you can clear your doubts that you encounter while self studying and also you will have someone to teach you in a proper manner. Self study is really important. If you take up coachings and do not pay attention to self study then there is not profit of joining a coaching. Just be positive and work hard. If you are a dropper, you will feel immense pressure, but just be focussed on your goal.

can I qualifies NEET exam with 680+ through self study with out any online or offline coching

darshita 21st Dec, 2020

Hello,

Yes, you can qualify for NEET and as well as get a good score.

But if you have better understanding of subjects like Physics and chemistry there is minimal need for coaching but if your subjects are weak then you should take help.

As due to pandemic you could have faced little difficulties in understanding.

So you can take help of tutorial and coaching.

You should also practice mock papers as many as you can with time limit.

Hopefully this helps!!

chinchujoseph1993 16th Dec, 2020

HEllo,

This time JEE will be conducting the exam 4 times: held in February, March, April & May respectively.

If your coaching centre has finished almost 70-80 % of the topics, wherein the topics with more weightage has been covered, then I suggest you start self study and if you think you can spare some time then continue with the coaching centre. But do start preparation from your own side.

SinceJEE Mains is one of the toughest exams held,  it is important to make a preparation strategy and start according to it. For this you will need to know the syllabus and the weightage for each topics.

Below I have provided some tips for preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced examinations if you decide to go for self study.

  • The most important thing that has to be done first is to understand the exam pattern, the dates and the syllabus . This helps you to understand which topics you will have to spend more time on and plan your timetable accordingly.

Below I have shared with you a careers360 link from hwere you will get the JEE MAIN 2021 weightage for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Based upon this you can figure out which are the important topics that carry more marks and which you find difficulty and accordingly you can spend more time on those topics:

    https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus-weightage

  • Once you get to know about the syllabus and the dates, now you can set a timetable. You can decide how many days or hours you will be keeping for each subjects, revision and to practice previous year papers and mock tests. Manage time in a way that you spend enough time on difficult topics and also ensure that you have ample time for revision and practice.

  • Another important thing to keep in mind is to find the correct books for you . Some books may be hard to follow, so try to get materials that are written in a student friendly language. Below I have given a link where you can find details about the best study materials

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/best-study-material-for-jee-main

  • While studying the subjects make sure you keep note of important points and equations in a separate book . This will come in handy at the time of revision.

  • Once you are done studying the subjects start revising and doing previous year papers and mock question papers on a daily basis . This helps you to recollect the formulas, gives you an idea on where you have to improve and will also help you to manage time better. Make it a point to solve atleast one paper every day during the month you have kept apart for revision and practicing question papers.

Below I have shared a link where you can get sample question papers.:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers

  • Another important thing is that don’t study anything new at the last minute and this can create confusions.

  • NEVER TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED . Get proper sleep, eat healthy food and keep your self hydrated. Ensure that you do not stress your self too much and give enough time to relax and take breaks. Always remember that if you are stressed out then take a break as it would not bring out any good results when you put yourself in more stress.

  • Finally, on the day of the exam relax and don’t get tensed. Keep your mind clear and give the exam.  You will surely be able to do well.

Hope this was useful.

Good Luck
