HEllo,
This time JEE will be conducting the exam 4 times: held in February, March, April & May respectively.
If your coaching centre has finished almost 70-80 % of the topics, wherein the topics with more weightage has been covered, then I suggest you start self study and if you think you can spare some time then continue with the coaching centre. But do start preparation from your own side.
SinceJEE Mains is one of the toughest exams held, it is important to make a preparation strategy and start according to it. For this you will need to know the syllabus and the weightage for each topics.
Below I have provided some tips for preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced examinations if you decide to go for self study.
-
The most important thing that has to be done first is to understand the exam pattern, the dates and the syllabus . This helps you to understand which topics you will have to spend more time on and plan your timetable accordingly.
Below I have shared with you a careers360 link from hwere you will get the JEE MAIN 2021 weightage for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Based upon this you can figure out which are the important topics that carry more marks and which you find difficulty and accordingly you can spend more time on those topics:

-
Once you get to know about the syllabus and the dates, now you can set a timetable. You can decide how many days or hours you will be keeping for each subjects, revision and to practice previous year papers and mock tests. Manage time in a way that you spend enough time on difficult topics and also ensure that you have ample time for revision and practice.
-
Another important thing to keep in mind is to find the correct books for you . Some books may be hard to follow, so try to get materials that are written in a student friendly language. Below I have given a link where you can find details about the best study materials
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/best-study-material-for-jee-main
-
While studying the subjects make sure you keep note of important points and equations in a separate book . This will come in handy at the time of revision.
-
Once you are done studying the subjects start revising and doing previous year papers and mock question papers on a daily basis . This helps you to recollect the formulas, gives you an idea on where you have to improve and will also help you to manage time better. Make it a point to solve atleast one paper every day during the month you have kept apart for revision and practicing question papers.
Below I have shared a link where you can get sample question papers.:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers
-
Another important thing is that don’t study anything new at the last minute and this can create confusions.
-
NEVER TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED . Get proper sleep, eat healthy food and keep your self hydrated. Ensure that you do not stress your self too much and give enough time to relax and take breaks. Always remember that if you are stressed out then take a break as it would not bring out any good results when you put yourself in more stress.
-
Finally, on the day of the exam relax and don’t get tensed. Keep your mind clear and give the exam. You will surely be able to do well.
Hope this was useful.
Good Luck

how to make iit jee mock test by self study
You first need a proper test taking strategy, to ace any examination be it your Mock Test or IIT JEE Exam. The strategy should ensure you finish your strongest section in minimum amount of time attempting first, followed by given more time to other sections, and completing the paper in stipulated amount of time, as such you are confident of securing atleast 40% of the Total Score.
Besides test strategy, you also need proper strategy in selection of preparation Material for Self Study. Besides good books as well as NCERT, I would like to suggest you few of the crucial materials which helped me during my JEE Advanced Preparation
1. Arihant Chemistry Handbook
2. Allen Maths Handbook (PDF Available)

can I crackIIT jee with self study and online class I am in class 12. I does not start preparation yet as my father does not have money to buy books and offline coaching,I want to give jeemains 2021,my maths, chemistry, Physics is good for class 12andclass 11,my fmly doesnt suprt me in my jurny iit
Hi aspirant,
Yes, you can crack IIT only if you work hard and give your valuable time for the preparation.
Make sure to apply for JEE MAIN 2021.
You can prepare for the entrance on your own. You just have to divide your whole syllabus into parts because very less months are there for preparation.
Most important thing to remember is to focus on your 12th board exam is very necessary. As you have to score more than 75% in your 12th to be eligible for NITs/IITs. If you score less than 75%, you may loose the opportunity to get an admission into IIT.
If you have your reference books for physics, chemistry and maths, then go thoroughly through them, otherwise prefer atleast one proper reference book per subject to study and practice that particular subject.
Thank you

Dear aspirant
The first step to test oneself in Civil Service examinations is preliminary exam. The exam paper will be segregated into two sections: Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (Aptitude Test). Both the papers would carry 200 marks each.
Since, preliminary examination does not require an in-depth focus under each subject, hence, it is suggested that students should concentrate on reading NCERT high school textbooks. Along with this, UPSC wants candidates to be loaded with facts regarding the past and current events, for which the candidate must thoroughly read newspapers.
Reading good general studies books would be an additional advantage. For geographical knowledge, one should look at an atlas to store the required knowledge about places, cities, continents or countries in his/her long term memory .
Paper 2 entirely examine your aptitude; hence it covers topics like comprehension, interpersonal and communication skills, logical reasoning, decision making ability, general mental ability and basic numeracy or data interpretation. One should try to solve the question papers of last 5 years; this will enhance the ability to answer questions smartly.
