Your Board's marks are also required for admission at Sastra University.
you may not get a seat in Sastra University if you didn't get good marks in your boards.
The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.

To apply for the Sastra University,Thanjavur you can either apply online directly from the college official website or you can download the application from the website and fill it offline and submit it in the university admission office. The eligibility for the admission is, the candidate should have a minimum of 60% in their board examination. The admission procedure is based on the marks you secured in the 12th. Since you have secured a very good score in 12th you will definately be able to make it into the Sastra University, Thanjavur. It is not about CSE or IT.Sasta university almost all branches have average package of 4 LPA amd the highest package is approx 20 LPA. It is quite common that you are interested im placements details and all. But one thing you keep in mind that never try your best only for the placement,if you try to improve your technical skills as well as communication skills the appropriate and the job in which you are interested can be obtained easily.

First of all congrats for all your GPA and percentile.In SASTRA University , the admission is based on JEE main percentile as well as 12th marks scored.The weightage of JEE mains is 25% and remaining 75% will be given for 12th marks.The SASTRA rank is cacluated based on these parameters((JEE main percentile*0.25)+(12th percentage*0.75)).Based on this rank, the students are called for counselling based on merit.Since you have a good GPA and excellent percentile you have a very high chance of getting your desired branch in this University.

I am very sorry to say that you may not get a seat in CSE at Sastra University with these marks. But you still have the chance to get IT. The cutoffs are also not very coherent every year so you could wish for the best.

First of all there is no specific cut-off marks for getting admission in sastra university. Your 12th marks and jee marks will decide your seat in sastra university. The merit is made based on 25% weightage of JEEmarks And 75% of your class 12th marks. So as you have calculated then your marks are good and their are some chances that you get stream 1 in good branches.
