I got 9.25 grade points in board exams and 83 percentile in jee main exams .. Do i get admission in SASTRA university?????
Yeah definitely you can get in to the SASTRA University based upon your score in the JEE mains entrance exam as well via board too but as per my opinion you can try to the other private engineering institute as well which are considered to be top rated as comparison with the SASTRA , for more details you can also visit the NIRF, MHRD ranking as well such that you get the whole scenario of the ranking of the private institutions.

You have a good chance to get a seat at Sastra University for ECE with these marks by stream 2.
The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.

Well you are not clear with your four year course but for b.tech they are providing the course in 14 branches including aerospace, chemical engineering. The fee structure is-
1st year-- 147,000
2nd year --131,000
3rd year--131,000
4th year--131,000
Excluding hostel and mess expenditure.

Hii,if i talk about sastra university admission process depend upon your 12 th percentage+jee main scores.And in ur 12 th class you should have 90 percentage.Well if you do not have 90 percent in 12 th there you also apply for it the cutoff has been declared according to the seats and marks.For direct admission you have 90 percentage in 12 th class.Hope,this information will helpful for you.Goodluck.

First of all there is no specific cut-off marks for getting admission in sastra university. Your 12th marks and jee marks will decide your seat in sastra university. The merit is made based on 25% weightage of JEEmarks And 75% of your class 12th marks. So as you have calculated then your marks are good and their are some chances that you get stream 1 in good branches.

Branch selection depeon your area of interest and future scope
If you are interested in software the the option available is cse/it.
If you are interested i. Electronic or electrical them option available are ece/eee
If you are interested in in any other feild then choose according to that

Whether you will get selected in SASTRA University or not is uncertain because SASTRA University does not declare any cutoff as such. Admission there depends on how many students have applied and their marks. So you will have to wait until they release their merit list.
As for JEE advanced the expected cut off for this year is around 80 to 86. If the cutoff is less than or equal to 82 you can write JEE Advanced otherwise not.

Sastra University accepts students into B. Tech courses through 2 streams mainly. The first stream considers JEE mains and 10+2 marks and the second stream depends only on 10+2 marks.
