How is campus life at Srcc ? Are the students there innovative thinkers or bookworms? Is taking admission at Srcc really worth it ?
Sri Ram College of Commerce is one of the top colleges of India. The alumni network is strong and there have been great personalities who have attended this place. The atmosphere is very lively and the study environment is also very healthy. You won't have to become a bookworm or something like that.
Regarding is it worth taking admission - yes it is one of the best opportunities one can get. It all depends on the individual what he/she achieves from that.
Hope this helps.

How are placements at Srcc college? What is the average package ??
Hi Rugved Dandekar,
I think apart from the IIT's, SRCC is one of the few graduate colleges that offers very good placements. Some of the best paying companies offer packages that are almost at par with the average pay MBA's from the top institutes in India get post-graduation!!
Be it Investment Banking, Audit, Management Consulting or Marketing, a plethora of opportunities are offered to graduates in their third year. Top firms like Mckinsey, Deutsche, Bain, Delloite, KPMG, PWC, Google and the likes recruit on campus.
Avg Package: At the same level was Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi, where two students bagged the highest package of Rs 31 lakh from EY-Parthenon, the placement office of the college said. The highest pay package at Hindu College too was Rs 31 lakh\
Hope you get your answer.

I have got 82% in CBSE board exam so I am eligible for SRCC college .
Hello student,
As per your scored percentage that ís 82% in CBSE board, you are not eligible to get an admission in SRCC. As SRCC is one of the premier colleges of Delhi University, therefore keeps it's cutoff high. Your scored percentage is much low in comparison to it's cutoff as its cutoff hardly ever go till 96% . You can get admission in another DU colleges in south campus as per your percentage.
All the best!
I scored 95.2% in 12th boards in commerce so can i get admission in srcc as an EWS category student under 10% quota
Hi Tanya,
This is the first time that the EWS category has been introduced in JEE Mains and we are yet to see how it unfolds. Since no previous cutoff is present, we won't be able to predict colleges for you.
Assuming that the cutoff will be somewhere in between OBC and general, you have little chance to get a seat there. I would suggest you to not keep your hopes high and look for other colleges too.
Hope it was useful to you and your query was resolved.
Feel free to contact us for any queries.
All the best :)

Do students in Srcc pursue Chartered accountancy?
Hello Rugved,
SRCC offers two undergraduate programs: B.Com(Hons.) and Economics (Hons.).
CA as a degree is offered only by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in India.
Hence, there is no way to pursue CA from SRCC. Do you instead mean how can CA be pursued simultaneously while in SRCC?
Once you have successfully taken admission in SRCC (or any other DU college for that matter), perform the following steps:
Year 1
Take the CA-CPT paper. It is fairly easy to clear with little or no coaching required. Most of the syllabus stems from Class 11th and 12th commerce.
Once it is cleared, register for the CA (Intermediate) exam, preferably the attempt atleast 1.5 years away from your CA-CPT paper. That would give you sufficient time to get done with all your coachings, do some self study and hopefully not miss out too much on the amazing SRCC culture.
Juggle between SRCC and CA classes. Oh! And don't forget to join societies of your interest.
Year 2
Continue juggling between SRCC and CA classes.
Get serious about your favourite society.
Take a break from coachings. Time for some self study!
Take the CA (Intermediate) exam. Hope to pass.
Meanwhile, start enjoying your college fests.
Hopefully pass. *Fingers crossed*
Year 3
Time to chill. Sit back and relax.
Some time in February: Search for articleship begins. Hopefully get one of the Big Five opportunities from campus itself.
Got the articleship? Great. Chill until April.
Request your firm if you can join them before 30th April (Helps to save an attempt). Get your ‘No problem certificate’ from college to ensure compliance with ICAI rules. Classes are usually over by this time, so the college wouldn't have major issues giving the certificate.
Join the firm before 30th April.
Juggle between office and studying for your final exams in May.
Pass your final exams.
Graduate.
2.5 years later take your CA (Final) paper and hope to pass.
Congratulations! You have now successfully managed CA and SRCC simultaneously.
Good luck.
If 4th cut off at SRCC SC category is 90.5% available seats 10,application received 20 will all of them get admission in SC category
Everyone will get admission, if they can clear the cutoff.
Colleges realise this can happen, and are bound to increase the number of seats available if there are more candidate. The university board mandates them to do so.
Do not worry on that count!
Good luck.
