Which collage is better between hanraj or ramjas collage
To be honest, there is hardly any distinction between the two colleges. They are almost the same when it comes to performance.
In the arts section, Ramjas beats most colleges of DU any day. However, in the commerce and science sections, Hansraj is a little bit better.
When it comes to extracurriculars, both colleges are outstanding, have more than 50+ societies for the same, and have regularly been the leaders in the circuit. Ramjas has one of the best quiz and music societies, while Hansraj has the best British Parliamentary debate system etc.
So, it's all very subjective and ephemeral. Both colleges are also situated hardly 300 metres from each other so competition is bound to be there, but what is to be kept in mind is that it is healthy.
If you get either of them, just take admission!
To get admission in SRCC what is the minimum percentage required for SC students?
For Economics Honors, the cut off closes by 2nd list, and stands at 92.75 percent.
This is as per last year. Going by the trend, the cutoff might increase by 0.25-0.5 percent this year, so plan accordingly.
Also, SRCC has just two courses available. Good luck.
I want to get admission in St. stephens, SRCC or LSR of DU. Whatare commerce courses option which i can pursue in these colleges with 96.25?
So, Stephens and Lady Shri Ram Colleges don't provide any commerce course, unfortunately. They are both solely Arts and Science collegss
However, SRCC does. But your percentage is a little low to be considered for SRCC. It's Commerce Honors Programme touches a cutoff of minimum 97 percent while the Economics course goes above 97.5 percent.
So, yes, you have just narrowly missed out. However, there are a lot of colleges in Delhi University where you will walk in easily. Hindu, Hansraj, Ramjas, Kirori Mal, Venkateshwara, Miranda, etc.
These colleges are equally good, if not better than the ones you mentioned above. Good luck!!
What will be the cutoff for reservation under general categories in srcc gbo exam?
In 2016, the cut off for general category student was 211/640, while last year it was 354. So, keeping in with the trend, ir should hover around 350.
Do keep in mind that it covers only 75 percent of your total score. So, try to score above the cutoff. Again, at the end, you will be given a score out of 75.
Good luck.
I have scored 97.5 in best of my four can i get admission in SRCC for B.COM hons. in this academic year 2019 ?
But keep in mind that I am using last year's cutoff for this answer.
Last year, SRCC released two cutoff for BCom Hons and the second cutoff was 97 percent, which I guess should give you enough security.
So, yes, you have a high chance of getting into SRCC, though you never know.
Even if you don't get into SRCC, you will easily walk through Hindu, Ramjas, Hansraj, Kirori Mal, etc. These colleges are equally as good as SRCC, if not better.
Stephens doesn't provide Commerce courses.
But over all, be rest assured.
I have got 96% in top 4 subjects including one language and 3 other can i get admission at srcc or hansraj college or hindu college delhi
Hey Bhupesh,
Congrats on your result. Since, you haven't mentioned your preferred course, I'll be taking B.Sc Chemistry as your preferred course. According to last year's cutoff, Hindu College had a cutoff of 96.66%. Hansraj had a cutoff of 96%. SRCC doesn't offer Science courses as it is a commerce college.
According to previous year's cutoff you have a great chance of getting in the mentioned colleges.
Hope this helps, all the best
I have got 96% in top 4 subjects including one language3 other and maths as additional and cleared can i get admission at srcc/hansraj/hindu
Firstly congratulations on passing your 10 + 2 with such a good percentagefirstly congratulations on passing your 10 + 2 with such a good percentage
For best of four percentage calculation the method is given below:
1. 1 language course which can be core, elective, functional
2.you must include one relevant subject that is like if you choose to pursue BSc statistics of bsc maths Hons then it is compulsory for you to include mathematics as one of your best of force subjects similarly if you choose to pursue BCom aur BCom Hons it is also compulsory for you to include mathematics in your best of four
3. Two subjects from list A
Forest a you can check the Delhi University web portal where they have mentioned the courses that you can include in your best of four.intraday subject other than those in the list then there will be a deduction of 2.5 from your overall percentage like if you include physical education music in your best for then there will be a deduction of 2.5 from your overall best of four percentage.
Now as far as the admission is concerned the cutoff is quite high for SRCC and Hindu College so it might be quite difficult for you to get admission in those colleges but you can surely get admission in North campus with this percentage may be not in initial cutoffs but surely in later cutoffs
I completed 12th in 2018 with 95% ( PCMB) . What are the best courses and colleges i can join if i wish to study in DU? Also explain in
There are a lot of courses available in Delhi University but in my vision,
Most Popular Courses in Delhi University:
Bachelor's of Arts Degrees - because of great faculty and people's interest.
B. Com (Hons)
Economics Hons
English Literature
Botany
Political Science (Hons)
I have scored 97 percent in best 4 in my 12th isc exams. Is there any change i can get into SRCC?1
Last and last to last year, the cut off for SRCC for BCom Hons stopped at exactly 97.25 percent and 97 percent. Going by the trend, the cut off may rise and in a case of cumulative results not being in favour of students, cut offs might fall.
But, I can assure you it won't for below than 97 percent.
Economics Hons, the only other course available, is a little out of reach for you.
Even in case you don't clear the cutoff for SRCC, do keep in mind that there a re a lot of other colleges in DU who are as good as SRCC.
GOOD LUCK.
I got 96.6% in class 12th exams CBSE. I had opted for maths (additional) but did not appear for it. Am i eligible for taking admission in
No you are not eligible for taking admissions in bachelor's of commerce honours offered by the college's of the University of Delhi , New Delhi. You need to have maths as a subject and must have atleast passed it to be eligible. You can give a performance enhancement test for your mathematics subject and can apply next year.
Hope it helps
Thanks
