i suggest you to choose SASTRA because

If you are comparing Sastra college with SSN college then if we go according to placement then Sastra University has a good record as compare to SSN college but the difference is minor

If we go for the faculty support then both the college have good faculty support

If you are looking on the basis of accommodation then SSN college has a good accommodation as compare to Sastra college

If we go according to infrastructure then this point also goes to SSN college

For getting a seat through management quota in SSN College of engineering you have to fill a separate application form given by SSN  which you can get from the college or office in Mylapore, CHENNAI . After filling the form, you will be called for an examination and interview based on your 12th standard cutoffs again.

Generally the minimum  cutoff for management quota seat is around 192-195.

SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE), established in 1996, is an engineering college located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to Anna University.

Admission to both the programs are done on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.

For Admission:

Candidates will have to participate through TNEA and TANCET counseling for B.Tech and M.Tech admission respectively. Once alloted through counseling, candidates need to move ahead to the institute for the final admission round.

Fees for Btech is approx 200000 per year

Fees for MTech is approx 100000 per year

Placements wise also college is best .Highest package offered 61 lakh per annum, lowest is approx 3 lac per annum and avg package is approx 4.5 lac per annum.

Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Marks secured by Candidates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry will be reduced to the base of 200 to prepare the rank lost. But if you belong to General Category, you will need atleast 85%-90% in your Boards and if you belong to Reserved Categories, you need atleast 75%.

SSN College of Engineering is one of the famous colleges in Chennai. One thing you must remember that you have to maintain at least 65 to 70% attendance. Professors are highly meritorious and experienced and always approachable. All the departments in SSN have more than adequate infrastructure for both academic and research purposes and excellent faculty. Just try to wear proper outfit in the college. The college provides free wifi and many other facilities. If you are residing in hostel then there are some rules and regulations. Hostel attendance is taken within 8.30 pm to 9.00 pm.
