For getting into SSN college of engineering , They only consider our 12th marks right ? Or also they will consider our 10th marks ?
Hey,
For admissions in SSN College of engineering, the eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum relevant score. There is nothing mentioned about the 10th score. So, admission will be based on the 12th score only. It's just that you must have passed your 10th examination as well.
For admissions, the merit score will matter. You don't have to give any entrance exam.
Hope this helps!
Hello ! I am studying my 12th std. And I want to get into SSN college of engineering ! whats the criteria I need to pass to get into SSN ? like whats the minimum Cut off for getting into SSN ?
Hi aspirant,
You should have studied Physics, chemistry, maths in your 12th standard and passed with minimum 50% of marks. But meritorious students can only get into SSN Engineering college, Chennai. 65% seats are filled by state counselling and 35% of seats are filled by management. If you are a General category student, you will need cutoff marks above 195 to get a seat. At the same time if you are SC/ST candidate, above 150 marks is enough. Sir I got 30224 rank in obc.I am a girl from Andhra Pradesh. Do I have seat in nit or iiit in special rounds. How much % for seat getting.
With this rank it will be difficult for you to get admission in any of the NITs or IIITs with a good branch. The place where you have a better chance of getting admission are the newer NITs and IIITs and in the north-eastern ones. You can also try for NITAP as you can get a seat there because of home state quota. Hope this helps.

For the orientation programme in ssn college should we use only the additional buses to reach the college
Hello Rakshana,
For the orientation programme of a college you can use whatever transport you wish to travel in to reach the college. It does not matter if you use the additional buses or not. The buses are there to lower the number of cars and ease the traffic. That is why they are encouraged.
Hope this helps.
