So what I would suggest you to apply for multiple colleges at a time and don't settle with any one of them for now. Now as you have mentioned that you want to do engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru technological university, you can get into that as your rank is pretty good. Look every year most of the colleges have three to four round of counseling, now you have to see the number of applicants this college call for the first round of counseling. From there you can get an idea of your chances into that university. This you can check on college official website. Thus it will help you to know whether you can a choice of your branch or not.

The tenative date for the counselling and registration process is around to take place in the week of june last to july first week . Confirmed dates are yet to be announced and and have not be declared yet. You need to wait and look when the date for the commencement of the event would be released.

the cutoff changes every year and the TS PGECET Counselling 2019 will be starting from July (for GATE/GPAT/TS PGECET). The counselling for both GATE/GPAT & TS PGECET will be organized separately. This procedure will be comprised of certificate verification, choice filling & seat allotment. you've to wait for the counselling session to take place then only you will be able to get a clear picture whether you will be able to get into any OU affiliated college or not.

Acoording my information the scheme was implemented by previous governments with a cap of Rs. 2lakh in the annual income of parents in the case of SC and ST students. 
The limit was Rs. 1 lakh for BC, physically challenged, minorities and 
economically backward class students. Students who secured below 
10,000th rank in engineering stream of EAMCET were fully reimbursed fee 
while only Rs. 35,000 was paid for others.
