Hi Inchara,
As per your rank and as per previous year cutoff, you have chance to get only one government college Janatha Education TrustS Vivekananda Institute of Technology (VKIT) . The branches you will get in this college are:
B.E. in Information Science and Engineering
B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
B.E. in Civil Engineering
govt seat in mysore nie sjce is not possible because cutoff is higher for this college.

Ramaiah Institute Of Technology
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
BMS Institute of Technology and Management
PES institute of technology
SRI JAYACHAMARAJENDRA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
BMS Institute of Technology and Management
B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru
National Institute of Engineering

Siddaganga Institute Of Technology, Tumakuru
PES University
Is it worth going to NIE Mysore for CSE or go to SIT TUMKUR FOR CSE. Iam from tumkur.I just want to go outside for engineering and explore and understand society. please provide Detailed suggestion why whynot
hi,
see national institute of engineering mysore and SIT tumkur both of the college is excellent interms of placement, internship opportunity, student and faculty ratio, extra curricular activities etc. however there is not very much comparison between the two college and both of the college is quite good. if you study saying at home your hostel fees would be save. however if your family is financially capable to bear your expenses then you may definitely go for NIE mysore and explore the new city.
hope you may understand.
which among the colleges can provide me good placement in CSE. BIT , PESU , PESIT ,BMSIT , SIT , NIE , DSCE, BMSCE. please provide me in a order. Also provide me with some other good placement providing colleges other than RV and MSRIT. KCET
hi,

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
BMS Institute of Technology and Management
PES institute of technology
B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru
National Institute of Engineering
bangalore institute of technology
Siddaganga Institute Of Technology, Tumakuru
which is better college SIT, Tumkur or NIE, Mysore in all aspects by last 3 years comparison.
Hello Suraj,
The above colleges of engineering are well known colleges of engineering.
The above colleges in order are as following
1. NIE MYSORE.
2. SIT TUMKUR.
The above order of the engineering colleges are as per their rating and recommendations.
Hope this may help you.
All the best!!
I have a chance to go to BIT Bangalore, DSCE for CSE. I may also get ISE in MSRIT, BMSCE. PESU is tough luck in CSE, may get ISE. Which college should I choose in terms of placements, infrastructure, hostel, fees etc. (OR) Should I join to NIE Mysore or SIT tumkur. Please provide a detailed report.
Hello
The best college for CSE course among these two would be MVIT as the cutoff for MVIT is less compared to NIE and SIT which suggests that there would be better students in that college and thus you would get a better environment to study. Also, the placement record of MVIT is a little better than NIE as it is located in Bengaluru city and thus more companies visit there for placements.
ALL THE BEST
Iam from tumkur. I have chances to get into SIT, PESIT, BMSIT, NIE for CSE. I really want to go outside of tumkur. I also want to get good placement. Can anyone give suggestions. SIT in tumkur. PESIT and BMSIT in bangalore. NIE in mysore. Average package, gym etc
Hello aspirant,
If u want to study in Bangalore then you should go for BMSCE as it has good placements and exposure and also you can have access to other facilities as well . And if u want to go outise Bangalore I would suggest you to go to NIE as it has very good placements for CS and IS , this is for your long term benifit as placements are very much necessary.
The final choice is yours as all the colleges are very good!
Good luck!

I got 5000 in CET exam 2020...... Can I get admission in NIE .....? What are the oppertunities I have...?
Hey Himanshu
I am assuming you are talking about KCET and are from general category with a domicile of Karntaka. If my assumptions are corrent then with your rank you can get a seat in NIE Institute of technology in CSE,ECE,EEE,Information Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. You can also get other pretty good colleges like Dr Ambedkar etc. You can check the full list at https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor
i got 23535 rank in kcet will i be able yo get seat in nie?
You have very less chances to get a seat in NIE college that too in CSE Department. Usually seats in the CSE Department will get filled first in all good and top colleges.
The cut off for CSE Department in NIE for general is around 2.5k. Even for SC/ST category, it will end at nearly 20k. You might get a seat if you have some greater reservation quota's like Hyderabad-Karnataka quota, rural quota, Kannada medium quota and such other quotas.
But you can give a try, as you might get a seat if they keep 2nd round extended. This last round will be kept in the end, sometimes even after the college starts it's sessions. They keep this round because there will be some seats left empty in the end.
