The cutoff for year 2017 for NIE, Mysore for 3bg category for MCA course was 1638 rank. So, your rank should be around this rank  to get admission there.

Cutoff for every college which considers kcet exam is announced after the allotments. We can only have mere pridictions based on last year's cutoff.  During 2018 round 1 , cutoff of cse branch in NIE  (general merit ) was 2269, whereas for reservation category it goes up to 22k. So you can obviously take admission.

Congratulations for you rank. According to the previous years cutoff, you have a great chance of getting admission in both the colleges, ie, NIE and SJCE. Cutoffs vary every year due to paper difficulty level, no of students appearing for the exam and counselling and no of seats available in the college for the course. So apply for the counselling. These cutoffs were for the ISE branch.

COMEDK 2018, after Round 2-

• Cutoff Rank (HKR)- 31,422

KCET 2018, after Extended Round 2-

Generally, PES and MS Ramaiah MBA seats fill within 1500 rank. So it's a bit difficult for you to get into this college. You can opt for another colleges in karnataka like-

Coming to your question it is not clear to me that the above mentioned rank is of comedy or of the kcet.

But taking the condition of the general student who had given the comedk it seems that it is impossible for him to get into these two colleges , based on previous year stats he can get jce but the only branch is construction technology and management.

Hello aspirant, it is quite tough to confirm about the placements grounds because they totally depend on the students and the colleges performance regarding teaching as well as providing opportunities. You are a student of ISE which means the placement is quite competitive . So you may get a placement, but getting a package over 10lakh is something no one can confirm. All the best

10 lakhs plus is actually one of the highest pay offered in ISE branch of the NIE college.

you need to be at the top of the class and have  a good GPA. placements are very good as 

Nie ISE branch is quite good from placement point of view. But you have to work really hard to get placed in top mnc's because the competition bar is too high from computer science students. You will get placed in any one of the companies that's for sure because almost 50+ companies visit our campus. But you want to get placed in companies which offer 10lpa+ package then you have to work really hard.
