But for the Free seat the cutoff is usually very high so so you quite bleak chances of getting a free seat. Also your category helps. The cutoff is around 15 k. If you didn't get a seat in first round don't worry still you have a round to get into that college .

But try to put a backup option other than cbit as some times cutoffs tend to change every year based on various factors.

The 10 percent reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in university admissions may not be applicable from this academic year in Telangana. There was talk to implement the EWS quota but the officials have decided not to include it in this academic year. The EWS quota in TS EAMCET will be applicable form the next academic year not this. Although there is an EWS option at the time of applying for EAMCET, the details are not included in the registration process on the website.
