If i get into upsc CMS and if i clear upsc CSE, can i quit UPSC CMS in midway ?
There are quite a good number of Civil Servants every year, who transits from other Central Government Grade A jobs to Civil Service. So its quite normal and usual and if you wish to go for the UPSC CSE examination after your UPSC CMS then you can obviously go for it and you can quit your job for civil services.

What books I should refer for NDA , MBBS and UPSC
For NDA and MBBS you can refer your class 11th and 12th books and as an addition you can also refer NCERT books as well. NCERT books can also be referred for NDA but along with that other books such as Indian polity by M Laxmikanth, World Atlas, Current affairs, Indian art culture by Nitin singhania, etc.
I have now passed 12 ,and want to crack upsc but Im confused about taking bachelors degree. which bachelors degree will be best for me if i want to do any other job than upsc
Hello Divanshi,
You can take up any bachelor's course, it won't affect your upsc preparation. Try taking the subject which you want to take optional for upsc mains exam, it will help you much better. If you want you can take BSc Cs course or BCA course, in future you can join any corporate sector for work easily. If you are taking other than that then you can open to research or teaching lines.
Thank you, all the best
i want to appear for upsc but i m very confused that which graduation should i do
Hello,
In any field, a degree or post-graduate degree is acceptable. Always choose a subject for your further education that you are interested in and confident in. Academic interests and careers shouldn't be sacrificed for a challenging and competitive public service position.
Go for it if you find physics or chemistry to be really intriguing. I've always believed that a competent science student has more flare and the capacity to craft accurate responses in a reasoned and impartial approach. First off, if you want to become an IAS, I advise you to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree. Sociology or political science are both acceptable majors.
One may pass any government test, including the UPSC, SSC CGL, State Public Commission Exams, and RRB, with the use of these topics.
These topics are incredibly enlightening and simple to comprehend.
Thank You
if I want to clear upsc means can I get graduation only from University or any other private colleges
Hello!
Getting a degree from any University or college is not at all related to UPSC exam. You can get your degree from any university or college of your choice. As in UPSC eligibility criteria it is not mentioned that the candidates from a private college is only allowed to appear in the exam. There's no such criteria. You can start preparing for the exams while pursuing your degree.
Hope this helps!

bsc computer science or bsc microbiology which is better after plus two for upsc aspirants
Dear Student,
It is all up to you. What you enjoy learning about and is most interesting to you.
Moreover BSc will only help if you take a science subject as your optional.
Bsc computer science- Because programming is so rigorous, if you decide to study computer science, I think your analytical and logical skills will have much improved. I think you would have to pick a topic that has a strong scientific component. You can choose from a variety of areas, such as geography, anthropology, geology, math, physics, psychology, and others, based on your interest in them and the resources that are available.
Bsc microbiology- The UPSC optionals always have a curriculum available. Students having a background in microbiology might prepare for the upcoming UPSC exam by choosing a topic in the medical sciences, anthropology, or even zoology.
But remember, All graduate students must take the ias prelimbs test. For the mains exam, students can select two subjects, however they must complete those two subjects for their graduate degree.
According to that, prepare for the exams.
All the best.
