According to your percentile score chances of getting admission into any government college is nearly negligible but still if you want to try , You should apply for the counselling of your home state and I would suggest you to wait till physical rounds of counselling if you are okay to pursue mechanical engineering . Otherwise you can apply for various private colleges , some of which I am mentioning below:-

Chitkara University , Chandigarh

Galgotia University , Noida

TFW is a scheme approved by the Government of India for the students who are financially unstable and are unable to pay the college fees and expenses. So, in order to get admission through TFW, you need to have a low Annual family income and would have to submit your income certificate for verification purpose. Then only you would get admission through TFW.

TFW is not a category but a scheme initiated for students . If you did not get admission through the TFW scheme, then you would het admission through your normal rank procedure.

If your income doesn't fit under the criteria for TFW, then you would not get it's benefit and seat.

You will be able to check the round-wise allotment after logging in using the required credentials. Factors such as preferences selected, performance in entrance examination and availability of seat will be taken into consideration by the authorities during allotment.

The authorities will hold six rounds of UPSEE 2020 counselling . Allotment of seats will be done as per the secured ranks, preferences of college and availability of seat.

Now you must keep in mind that there are still a few rounds left to take place. If you are happy with what you have got, you can quit from counselling. But I would suggest you to wait and have patience.

You may get a seat in one of your desired colleges or get the stream of your choice.

First of all I am explaining you in short the rule of choice  filling.During choice filling you can put any no of choices there and sort them according to your facvourable interest . In every round you will be allotted only one department of one college . According to your sorted choice list the top most available choice with vacant seats will be given to you . If you are happy with that then you lock that and get admission . Otherwise you upgrade( slide or float) If any of the preceding choice's  seat  becomes vacant then you will get than otherwise you get the allotted seat given to you from the previous round. But under any circumstances you can't get the receding choices after you are allotted a particular option.That's how it works. So choice filling and seat allotment is very vital.

So if you don't get anything new ollege or department in round 2 then you will get the seat of round 1.

So for every counselling you should lock the choices without waiting for the auto lock as sometime Technical glitches happen sometimes so you should take precautions.
