is it true that if we fill fee waiver option in upsee counselling then we are only eligible for fee waiver seat not for other?
Hello Aspirant,
A candidate is eligible for getting a TFW seat only of he or she is financially unstable or have less annual income and are unable to pay Fees of college and other expenses.
So, for applying for TFW seat, you have to submit your income certificate for verification purpose. If you are eligible, then you will get admission through TFW seat.
But, if you are not eligible and have more Annual income than the prescribed income by the Government, then you would not admission through TFW seat. But, you could get admission through a normal seat into the college.
If you fill fee waiver and don't get it, then would get admission through general or normal seats.
Hope that helps. Good luck
I have income and ews certificate which was made on October 2019. So can I use it in upsee 2020 counselling or I have to make new income and ews certificate for upsee counselling 2020 ?
The certificate which declares you to belong to the Economically Weaker Section (the EWS certificate) is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued. As you stated your certificate was issued in October 2019 (last year), it will not be valid this month onward. I suggest you get it renewed as the counselling is still going on.
I want to ask that I have income certificate and ews certificate which was made on October 2019. Can I use them for upsee counselling 2020 or I have to make new income and ews certificate?
The certificate which declares you to belong to the Economically Weaker Section (the EWS certificate) is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued, lets say the issue date (given on the certificate) is 18th October 2020, it will expire on 18th october 2021. As you stated your certificate was issued in October 2019 (last year), it will not be valid this month onward. I suggest you get it renewed as the counselling is still going on and will probably go on for another month or so.
I want to ask that can we take direct admission in btech 1st year in IET, BIET, KNIT without considering upsee score or someone got low score in upsee and want to take admission, can he /she can take admission directly.
If you have any category it would help you to get a branch.
As all these three colleges are top colleges of Upsee exams cutoffs are very high especially for CS branch.

Can any body please tell me from where i can get improvement marksheet of CBSE class 12th because JEE and UPSEE Counselling is going to start i have to upload!! PLEASE ANDBODY ??
The CBSE results for class 12 improvement exam were declared by CBSE on July 22nd 2020.
You can go to the website for digilocker at digilocker.gov.in (http://www.digilocker.gov.in) or download their app from play store to download your marksheet.
You need to login to digilocker using your mobile number which was given by you at the time of registration for improvement exam.
Then an OTP would be sent to your mobile number.
After entering the OTP, the system would prompt the students for a security pin. Use the last six digits of CBSE Roll number as mentioned on CBSE 12 th Admit Card 2020 as the security pin.
Once logged in, you can download your class 12 results for improvement exam and print it to give it to JEE Mains and UPSEE counseling.
All the best.
my general rank is 5200 obc can I get knit it/cs in spot round in upsee counselling?
It cannot be determined for sure, because the cut off varies every year and depends on a number of factors. Such as, the seat matrix, number of applicants, reservation, the percentile etc.
However looking at the past years' cut off for kit we can make an estimate. The cut off for 2019 rank wise in the last round for obc was:
- Computer science - 3930
- Civil engineering 8950
- Mechanical engineering 8773
- Electronics engineering 6481
good luck
however for btech it in KNIT Sultanpur the last year's cut off was at rank 5833, so we can be hopeful
I had pass 12th in 2019 but i had given mathematics compartment exam in 2020 so i have my two marksheet 1st which i have all subject and 2nd i have only maths pass maksheet. So during UPSEE counselling documents verification how will i upload my both marksheet? They will rejecte or not please help me
Hi aspirant,
During counselling you need both the marksheets, so scan both the marksheets and create a single pdf and then upload it. If you face any size issue then do compress the pdf by using online pdf compressor and then upload it. By this way you can able to upload both the marksheets withoit getting rejected.
hope this is helpful tk clear your dilemma.
i have got LNCT (1994) with civil or ECE branch and other is Lucknow institute of technology, Lucknow with CSE branch what i choose ? or i go for other option or upsee counselling ? I am totally confused ?
hello,
See the decision you would make completely depends on you. Which subject interests you the most. Each field has its own advantages and disadvantages.
for say, Civil engineers forms the base of development and growth of the communities. without them there would be no buildings or flyovers.
ECE enables a student to move from hardware department to software department easily. CSE on the other hand is a fast growing industry and has huge scope.
Lucknow institute of technology and LNCT are both very good in their respective places. However you can always use our college comparer, it compares colleges on the basis of ranking, placement, faculties, you can even read the reviews:
https://www.careers360.com/compare-colleges
In case you are not satisfied and you are sure, that you would get a better college in the next rounds, you may wait. But i would suggest you look at the past years' cut off for that specific college.
Good luck. Hope it helps
