I have got admission in Jadavpur University in pharmaceutical technology through wbjee counselling but in spot round or decentralised round if I get any other stream but I dont want to go for that stream and stay in pharmaceutical technology, will that be possible?
Dear student,
If you wish to opt for pharmaceutical engineering then drop out from the spot round and freeze you seat right now. However you will be allowed to choose between the two options, i.e. whether you want the seat you are allotted in spot round or the one that was allotted in the previous rounds.
my date of birth is 15/11/2004...In wbjee counselling for jeemain.. iam not able to apply as it is saying that Im not eligible due to my age... what to do... plzz help me out someone... today is last date for choice filling
Hello!
You cannot apply for jee mains at such a young age you must be of 17 years to apply for jee mains .plzz just wait for one more year as different colleges and different exams has its own rule and regulation.and I think you must not be given chance for sitting in JEE mains centre too
So prepare for one more year
Best of luck for your future!
I got techno International Newtown on the Wbjee counselling. I am completing my online admission process paying admission fees and now the college didnt message me of completing the process and they didnt inform about when the session begins what next, when did I can join the classes?
They will not inform you right away because there any many further formalities that has to be done buy you will be notified through a mail within a week. As par as the classes are concerned then i want to inform you that wbjee counseling is still going on and once the final round will be finished and after a month or so classes will start of various colleges.
I hope this helps.
i got jee mains 53% can i apply for wbjee counselling and can i get a good college through wbjee counselling?
First of all you must mention the category that from which category you have secured 53 percentile score.
Assuming that you belong from general category, then sorry you will not get any good government colleges, like nits, iiits, or other government institutions.
Now if you want to apply for wbjee counseling via your jee mains percentile, then you can apply for our, but you will not get any college because you have not qualified in jee mains.
So, I would say that you better try for some other state colleges or private institutions like kalinga institute of industrial technology, or you take admission via management quota.

i want to know how can i register for wbjee counselling through my jeemain marks... as it is round 3 and last round... Im tensed... please help me out... theres no choice in the registration process.. it only shows one option that is... for wbjee seats
Dear candidate,
First of all don't be tensed. These are WBJEE counselling rounds going on.After completion of all rounds of wbjee counselling through wbjee exams there will be only one round of counselling through JEE main marks. So the dates will be finalized by the board further as still wbjee counselling is going now. So in order to know the dates you need to get yourself regularly updated about the same from wbjee official website.
Now,coming to the registration process . When the registration form portal will get available online on official website you need to register yourself there and also you are required to pay a fee of Rs 500/- for the same.As this year there will be an e-counselling so you just need to keep yourself ready with all the documents required and get your counselling done on time.

can i get take part in wbjee counselling without giving wbjee exam
There will be one special round of counselling by WBJEEB for Jee Main and Nata Rank holders. The candidates, who will be applying on the basis of Jee Main paper 1/2 or Nata rank, have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 500. The process is as same as the normal counselling process of WBJEE but a separate notice will be published for this. You can download the notice released on Notification for WBJEE Counselling by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board on August 7, 2020 from the official website http://wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjeecms/public/home.aspx.

I got seat in wbjee counselling 2020. This seat is in 3rd no. in my choice locking. I accepted that seat, pay amount and go for upgrade. So my question is if no any above no. college i.e., 1st and 2nd no. colleges alloted in upgrade then this current seat is given to me or not?
You won't even have the chance to upgrade if didn't get the seat.
If I pay seat acceptance fee of Rs40000 in wbjee counselling and opt for upgradation and after 3rd or mop up round dont take admission in the college will the fee be refunded.
No, you will not get any refund in that case because if you will lock a seat and if go for upgradation and in the final round you opt out from taking any college then seats will be wasted and hence you will penalized.
I hope this helps.
What is the present scenario of domicile quota in JU wbjee counselling this year...
Hello Aspirant,
You must have known to the fact that there are only few State Universities in the whole India which doesn't have any domicile quota for their own state. Jadavpur University was one of them because before 2019 there were no reserved seats in WBJEE counselling for the students of its own state, West Bengal. But the situation has become changed after the modification of this domicile criteria by the JU Management Board.
According to the reformed rules and regulations, 90% of Engineering seats for general category in JU has been fixed for only the candidates of West Bengal from 2019. Other 10% general category Engineering seats are only for the canditates coming from the outside of our state.
One more thing should be added here that this advantage is only for the General-UR aspirants i.e. this domicile criteria is not applicable for the students of other reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, TFW, PWD etc. Lots of controversies centred round this decision as different people had different kind of opinions regarding this according to their own interests.
However if you're a General-UR candidate, so don't need to be worried, you'll definitely get this advantage in your upcoming WBJEE counselling. So just start intense hardworking to successfully get admitted in this top and eminent Engineering Institution in West Bengal.
