Hello,
Upgradation - In All India Quota, AIQ Counseling if you have been allotted a seat in 1st round of Counseling and you join the college, but you wish to upgrade to a college that was in higher preference during your choice filling then you opt for Upgradation and with this you become eligible for next round of Counseling.
FREE EXIT - After the results of the 1st round of All India Quota, AIQ Counseling are declared if you are alloted a college but you don't wish to join the college then you have option for free exit. This means that you can leave the AIQ counseling with complete refund of security deposit.
------ If you participate in 2nd round of Counseling and you are alloted a college, then you can't leave counseling without forfeiture of your security deposit.
