The Central Government has recently introduced 10% reservation quota for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) among General Category candidates in government jobs and educational institutions. However, many are unsure about the EWS Reservation Eligibility.
If you are a deserving candidate from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), we truly wish you should not miss the EWS quota with respect to the seats in Government Jobs (like IAS , IPS etc) and Government institutes (like the IIMs and IITs).
Many candidates and even some bureaucrats are not aware of the newly introduced provisions. Read this post to know in detail about the criteria to be included in the EWS Quota.
Hey Aspirant.
See EWS category stand for the economically weak students. Those students who are having low financial status and their family income is less than 2lpa are eligible to it. It is one kind of benefit being given to those students. There is 10% reservation of seats in any kind of government exam whether it be btech or higher studies.
Hope u got ur point. Ask if any query.
Good luck
