Yes you can change your category when the correction window of JEE Main opens in the NTA website. You can change the following information:-
- Personal Details
- Academic Details
- Change of Paper
- Language of Examination
- Name, State of Eligibility and Date of Birth
- Category (if you change your category from reserved to general, then you have to pay the balance fee. If you change your category from general to reserved, then no refund of fees will be done.)
So, do not worry. The correction window will open on Jan 19 2021. Follow the instructions given in the article below:-

Dear Candidate,
If you have entered some wrong information in the filling of application form for JEE Mains 2021, then don't be worry. NTA will provide the correction facility from January 19 to 21. But let me tell you that, you can't edit all the things in the JEE Mains form. You can edit only some specified things. For more info, you can refer to the link provided below.
