after giving neet ug can i get admission in doctorate of pharmacy course?
Hello Aspirant,
No you cannot get admission in Pharm.D course through NEET UG. This is because NEET UG is an a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to UG medical courses such as MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS and so on but Pharm.D is a professional pre-Ph.D. postgraduate doctorate of six years.
There are some other entrance examinations which one can attempt in order to get admission in Pharm.D course :-
- Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test
- All India PG Super Speciality Common Entrance Test
- Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam Pharmacy
- Punjab Pre-Medical Entrance Test
- BITS HD Pharmacy
- Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test [UPCPMT]
If we talk about scope of Pharm.D then it has good scope and opportunities in various fields like :-
