i secured 527 marks and 65k rank in neet 2020 and i belong to andhra pradesh can i expect any private or government clg in karnataka, telangana

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category and so this answer is being written in the perspective of General Category. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, with this score a few Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in:

  • Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Apollo Medical College
  • KIMS Institute of Medical Sciences

You cannot get Government Colleges of other States with this score. You can try for Private Colleges. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .

I have scored 447 in NEET, UR category. Can i get a semi government medical college for MBBS with low fees?

Anurag Khanna 19th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Odisha  according to your profile.

So on such marks and category you have very low chances of getting any of the GMCs according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the closing rank was 30947 for S L N Medical College & Hospital, Koraput under Home state quota for General category. But yes you can get some private colleges or deemed universities.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

how many seat are reserved for assam in upsee , my rank is 40644 and GL rank 1056 , Can i get good government college .

arpan00002 19th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You got 40644 rank in upsee & your GL rank is 1056.

Look, your rank is not so good. You may not get any government seat probably. For government seat, one should be with around 4000 to 5000 rank. So, you should go for private colleges.

An upsee college predictor tool for you is given here:

please tell my neet air is 622825 can i get bams seat in this college

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. In 2019, under State Quota, an All India Rank of 241283 secured a seat in Government Ayurved College, Mysore under SC Category. That was the cut off. The rank for General Category was 136020. So with a rank of approximately 6 lakhs, the chances of securing a seat in this College are less. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. which is the best collage i should select in b.arch 1. indubhai parekh schopl of architecture and 2. sarvajanik collage of engineering and technology

Mrinalini Sarkar 19th Oct, 2020

Hello,

In my opinion both are equally good colleges but I would suggest Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture. It has a good faculty and they always prefer practical approach more. They do have good academics and infrastructure. But there is  no accommodation facility for non-Rajkot students. Fees is average in comparison to other architecture colleges.

Hope it helps.

Good luck

will i get any govt college for 94.8 percentile in jee mains ?general category girl

Varun Sood 9th Sep, 2020
Hii aspirant
Hope you are doing well
With 94.8 percentile your rank would be around 45000
As you know there are total 22000 NIT seats in India
But as some people will go to IIT's,/CIFT's/ some will drop so it makes a possibility that you can get in somewhere
So if you would also have mentioned your home state then it would have been but easier to predict but still some NIT that you can get are
  1. NIT Rourkela :- life sciences 5 years integrated Master's of Science
  2. NIT Sikkim - Biotechnology
  3. NIT Nagaland - Electronics and instrumentation
  4. NIT Arunachal - Chemical engineering
  5. NIT Srinagar - Metallurgical and materials engineering and chemical engineering
  6. NIT Agartala - Production engineering, MSc Maths (Dual degree), Bio engineering

For predicting your college you can check the following tool

my Marks in neet 2020 is 465 ,I am of general merit .l have karnataka domicile. do I get seat in govt clg or private clg govt quota

Mrinalini Sarkar 19th Oct, 2020

Hello,

On the basis of your scores it is impossible to get government colleges specially because you belong to general category. If you are determined to get a seat in government colleges then you can try again next year.

But then again as you have already asked for whether you will get a private college or government college so let me tell you that you would get private colleges. Incase you are fine with it you can look for both All India Quota and State Quota. If you are interested and you are willing to look once you can use this link to predict colleges and further proceed with the counselling process- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=neetug-cp-lp&ici=nav-header_medicine

Hope it helps,

Good luck.

sir, i got 53 mark in jee main 2020 3 sept shift 1 and i am in sc category. am i eligible for jee Advance ?

Anurag Khanna 9th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the marks you have mentioned in the question your expected category percentile and rank would be in the range of 91.04-91.24 and 7321-8971 respectively and your overall percentile and rank will be falling in between 82.83-83.03 and 156221-188371. Till now the cut-offs for this year has not been released by NTA so I am guiding you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs to give you an idea. So on the basis of your percentile calculated above you have decent chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance because last year cut-off for JEE-Advance for SC category was 54.0129. You can also check out the previous year's JEE-Main cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff/amp

Note that cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

You can also use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college based upon your percentile and rank calculated above :-

I hope this information helps you.
