my sc category rank is 11,110 can i get any nit or iiit in cse,it,ece like branches??? can i apply for jossa counselling??

Anurag Khanna 12th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs/IIITs with CSE, ECE or IT like top branches as per previous year's cut-offs even if you deserves Home state quota for them but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.

I am getting approximate 350-400 in NEET 2020.Even if I get 300 at lowest. Can I get a seat in government colleges in Maharashtra or UP(SC)

Anurag Khanna 12th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Maharashtra according to your profile.

According to the marks and mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 246358-262168, you can check out marks Vs ranks from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

So on such marks and category you have no chance to get any of the government medical college in Maharashtra under state quota but yes you can get some private colleges through direct admission, but the condition is that you must have appeared in NEET counselling and unable to secure the seat. Or if you want to take admission in any GMC then I would recommend you to take a drop and prepare for NEET 2021 and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/?product=50&icn=knockout-neet-2021-may&ici=

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-maharashtra

For GMCs in UP you are not eligible as you belongs to Maharashtra and through All India Quota you cannot get any GMC in UP on such marks.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Nishu Kumari 15th Oct, 2020

Hii there,

Dear candidate, your question is not much clear. But let me know you something, that the admission to MBBS or BDS or any other colleges after qualifying NEET doesn't depend on your rank either or which coaching you attended for clearing the exam NEET. I think you have had some confusion about this.

Thank you!

bsc (CS), BSC (IT), and BCA which one is best?

Aadhvik 28th Aug, 2022

if you want to work for a company as a developer then you should opt for BCA but if you want to be a professor then Bsc is a good option for you. It doesn't mean that you cannot work for any company after Bsc but you have to work harder than others. The reason why I am telling you is that in Bsc the focus is on theoretical knowledge rather than BCA where you will learn about applications.
