Swarnabha Das 12th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant
NEET is the official entrance for students all over thr country for BPT MBBS BDS degree. To sit for BPT counselling one has to clear the cut off marks or percentile. This year cut offs has not been released yet .results will be out on 16th October. Generally cut offs are
For general category it is 50 percentile

For Obc category it is 40 percentile

for SC Category it is 40 percentile

for ST Category it is 40 percentile

for PWD category it is 45 percentile
Minimum cut off percentile is constant but as the standard of the question paper and total number of candidates appraring in thr exam are no constant . So cut off marks vary
However approximately for general category it is generally around 120 , for SC ST OBC generally around 120 and for PWD approximately 130

ayanmukherjee045 22nd Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got nit Trichy civil engineering. I think you should stick with nit Trichy as it is the topmost nit. The placements of civil engineering is really good in nit Trichy.

But if you still want better branch and better college like top 5 iits then you can give it a try but i consider it is pretty good which you have got now.

ayanmukherjee045 12th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant,.                                                 According to your percentile , i am sorry to say that it is very difficult to get into nits but through jee mains you can opt for Thapar University in Patiala. With this percentile, you will definitely get instrumentation over there.

Another option which you can opt for is comedk. There are good colleges like Ramaiah ,R.v and bms . You can join the counselling as it is started.

which government sector jobs can i get after doing maturlurgy and material engineering in nit... plz tell.

Abhishek Roy 21st Nov, 2020

Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has huge scope in the PSU and Public Research Sector.

In PSUs, you have SAIL, IOCL, Midhani, RINL and NALCO as major recruiters. However you need to your GATE Score for the above organizations, except RINL ( Vizag Steel ) which conducts its own recruitment examination for Management Trainee (Technical) positions.

In Public Research Sector you have BARC and other Department of Atomic Energy Establishments like NFL Hyderabad, ECIL, IGCAR Kalpakkam, Uranium Corporation of India Limited. Besides these, BIS, DRDO and ISRO also regularly recruit Metallurgical Engineers for their Operations as Scientists. You can visit their respective recruitment portals and websites to get to know more about the procedures.

My BCECE 2020 UR rank is 1205 & BC rank is 542.. Can I get IT in MIT Muzaffarpur Or CSE in BCE Bhagalpur.??? Please Reply!!!

Abhishek Roy 21st Nov, 2020

I believe at a BCECE General State Rank of 1205, in spite of Category Advantage you may have bleak chances in securing either of IT or CSE at both of the above institutes. However you must fill them as your top preferences in Counselling Process. I believe you have higher chances of securing Mechanical, Chemical or Civil at the above two institutes. Do keep an eye on the counselling dates and procedure.
