Which is better between Jims noida and Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management, both are under GGSIPU?

Yash Kamal Chaturvedi 21st Nov, 2020

Hey friend!

If we talk about Placement opportunities in both colleges=>

Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology;

Quality of placements is average at its best. Except for some mass recruiters no major companies could be seen there. My experience with the placement cell was not smooth, could have been a little more supportive.

Jim's Greater Noida;

The quality of placement is quite good. Companies like HCL,Infosys and many other reputated companies come for placement. The higjest salary package was offered was 8-10 lacs per year. The avg. salary offered was 5-6 lacs per year.

I think you should join the college which is near your house and affordable fee structure in your budget.

All the best friend!

can anyone suggest better strategy to master coordinate geometry especially conic sections and circles??? i m facing a lot of problem in this aspect. so plz suggest..

Manasi Kadam 12th Oct, 2020

Hello there,

Conic sections and circles to be honest are actually easy if you can remember all the formulas . Since learning formulas is something which can be done only if you put an effort by yourself. You can paste charts in your room with all the formulas written on it. See it every morning and before sleeping, read them at least once every day.
Use books like cengage, although the image of this book is created as it has one of the toughest questions but if you see it's solved example and concept application questions they are quite easy and are solvable if you just follow their theory exactly. so solve questions from it as being able to solve one question from cengage will automatically boost your confidence in the subject.

and mastering any concept in maths requires a lot of practice so once your confidence gets boosted start trying to solve the exercise questions, make best use of internet and youtube and ask your teachers and focused peers doubts, dont hesitate.

Hope it helps!
ALL THE BEST!

As you have mentioned that you are opting for production engineering the college has good placement records with an average package of 5.5lakhs.The college has got well organised placement cell which conducts training programs for students. The department of production engineering was formed on 2005.The department of metallurgy and materials engineering was formed on 1963.You can have a overlook on both campuses from the following links

i got 173807 CRL rank and 55350 in obc rank. My home state is ap. can i get any college ?

Nikhitha Sai 12th Oct, 2020

Hello Student,

A rank of of 173807 in crl category is a bit low rank. However, being from the obc category can make it a bit easier for you. The competition increases more with every passing year and hence, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. CBIT and vasavi college are some universities that can be got into, with this score and some other universities as well.

There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into.  Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities.

Some other good universities with this rank would be:

1. Andhra University

2. Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Guntur

3. Gitam University, Andhra Pradesh

4. JNTU
