Hi, My son was born in West Bengal (ration card) and studied up to class IV in a school there. Later he passed his 10th exam from a school in Haryana and will be passing 12th from the same school in 2021. Our present state is Rajasthan (Aadhar). What will be his home state quota? Thanks.

Usually home state is considered where one had completed his 10th and 12th ,so accordingly you son's home state will be haryana .But it also sometimes depend upon the institute ,sometimes they ask for domicile certificate for provide home state quota .So checkout the institute from their official website .

According to your rank that is 316, you have slight chance of getting M.Tech in EEE in CEG campus but in MIT campus according to me you will get the seat for sure. Also they upload the results on their official website but in order to make sure you have to keep at least 3-4 colleges in your mind so that it will confirm your chances of gettin seats.

NTA was to announce result date today but as per the Supreme court ruling, students who could not give NEET exam due to COVID-19 or belong to containment zones will be allowed to write the exam on Oct 14 and the result will be declared on Oct16.
