which college griet ECE department or Srinidhi ECE department better

myidshivanisrivastava 21st Nov, 2020

Hello Bhavya,

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad was established in the year 1997 by Dr G Gangaraju with the support of Gokaraju Rangaraju Educational Society.  GRIET is a self-financed institute and is permanently affiliated to and autonomous under JNTUH, Hyderabad. The institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.

B. Tech is offered by GRIET Hyderabad on the basis of marks secured in TS EAMCET  followed by participating in the counselling process and 30% of the total seats are Management quota seats. Admission to M.Tech is offered on the basis of  PGCET and GATE scores by Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad and admission to the sponsored category will be offered on merit. It  has adequate infrastructure like the canteen, library, etc which helps the students to have a hassle-free learning experience throughout their college life. It also provides facilities to the students like sports in order to give them a break from the regular academic schedule they follow. Students can avail these facilities in their free time for their recreation.

Almost 70-80% of the students get placed. The average package is around Rs. 3.80 LPA.

Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Ghatkesar - The admission will be as per TS EAMCET entrance exam.

It provides facilities such as Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Gym, Library, Sports, Cafeteria, Auditorium, Hospital, WiFi, IT Infrastructure, Classrooms, Transport, Laboratories, Alumni Associations, Guest Room etc.

This college has many tie ups with many companies  The average package is around Rs. 3.50 LPA. The college also offer internships to students.

I think it is better to join GRIET than Srinidhi , because the placements records are better at GRIET, in addition to facilities, faculty, infrastructure etc.

Mam/Sir can I get admission Maitryi college in fourth or fifth cut off I get 92.3% in PCM I want to pursue chemistry honours I am from general category

Atrayee Gayen 14th Oct, 2020

Dear aspirant,

First of all congratulations for securing such good marks!

Maitreyi College of DU is one of the most highly reputed college with great infrastructure , faculties and numerous facilities. So, it's cut offs are generally very high. I will also like to mention that there is not much difference in cut off between the first few lists and the last lists.

Well the cut off for this year will be based on different parameters like the total number of candidates appearing in exam, difficulty of exam, total number of seats etc. , and may vary slightly from previous year. Keeping all such things in mind, and considering last few year's cut offs I would like to say that you have a fair chance of getting admission for Chemistry honours in the 5th list.

Meanwhile, you can also have some other options too. There are many good colleges and you have scored really good so you can have some second preferences.

Hope this helps.

All the best!
