Tanya Gupta 8th Nov, 2024

Hello,

If your signature is still unclear after re-uploading, you may receive another notification from the GATE authorities to correct it. To avoid further issues, ensure the signature is on white paper with dark ink, scanned clearly, and meets the required size and format specifications mentioned in the guidelines. If issues persist, consider reaching out to the GATE helpdesk for assistance or re-uploading until accepted to prevent application rejection.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Can I get addmision in management quota

kumardurgesh1802 7th Nov, 2024

Hello Amrita,

Yes, you can seek admission through the management quota if you meet the college’s eligibility criteria for that route. Most private colleges and universities in India offer a percentage of seats under management quota, allowing students to secure admission by paying a higher fee.

Here’s how it typically works:

  1. Eligibility : Ensure you meet the minimum academic requirements for the course. This usually means passing your 12th exams or relevant entrance exams with the minimum required marks.

  2. Application Process : Contact the college’s admissions office directly to inquire about the management quota seats, fees, and admission process. Often, these seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so applying early can increase your chances.

  3. Fees : Be prepared for a higher fee structure compared to general merit-based seats.

Management quota can be a viable option, but keep in mind that availability and fee structures vary across institutions, so it’s best to confirm with the specific college or university you're interested in.

For details about admission in B.Tech through management quota you can check out an article by Careers360 whose link is given below:

Sir can i get addmision in management quota, /direct addmision

Mitali Sharma 12th Nov, 2024

Hello

Admission through the management quota allows a certain number of seats to be filled by a college or institution through a direct admission process , often at a higher fee . This quota is mainly for students who may not get admission through regular merit or entrance exams .

Here's some general points to consider :

1. Availability and Procedure : The availability of seats under the management quota varies from college and course . You would need to directly contact the institution’s admission office for details on the number of seats available , eligibility criteria and application process .

2. Cost : Admission through the management quota usually involves higher fees compared to normal merit seats .

3. Eligibility : While merit-based admissions may not apply directly , most institutions still have some minimum eligibility requirements , such as passing grades or minimum entrance exam scores .

4. Courses : Management quota is often available for professional courses like engineering , medical , management (MBA)  .

Hope this information helps you ,

My Name is Aryan 10 th Marksheet : My name --- surname AAdhar card : My name-- Father Name-- Surname. Form submitted with name : My Name-- Father name-- Surname and attached digilocker for aadhar. Now marksheet name & form name is diffrent. Please advice. Form submiited and paid fees.

Deepti Singh 7th Nov, 2024

Hello,

So it seems that the name in 10th mark sheet, Aadhaar card and the form submitted all are different. Here's what you can do:

Check the Rules: Many institutions and exam boards permit slight deviations on names provided the variation is not drastic, say missing a middle name as compared to not having any middle name. But if it looks pretty drastic (such as missing father's name or surname) then this could need to be amended.

Contact the institution or Exam Authority : After filling and submitting the form and upon the payment of fees, communicate directly to the concerned institution or examination authority for immediate action to make them understand your position of having all the supporting documents with you such as Aadhaar, 10th mark sheet, proof of request correction.

Name Correction Procedure: If the institution is allowing name correction before final admission or submission of examination form, then they facilitate it. Then you will have to provide a request letter along with attested documents that verify your identity like Aadhaar card, 10th mark sheet, etc.

Updating Documents : In case of your Aadhaar card or mark sheet, you might have to request an update from the relevant issuing authority.

  • Aadhaar: Update on UIDAI website through link with name correction.
  • 10th Marksheet : Write to your Board of school for the update of the name.

Attach Corrected Digilocker Link: Even if one had already submitted documents from Digilocker, ensure that it is attached with the correct name. Should be done: In case needed to be submitted again, then update your Digilocker account after the name correction and submit once more.

You can look at the institution and exam board's official pages for detailed specifications on how to address and handle name discrepancies.
