My 12th cut off is 153.and Im MBC DNC community also eligible for 7.5 reservation. based on this cut off any chances to get seatunder7.5 in sri Sairam engineering College or Sri Sairam institute of technology or veltech collage or panimalar engineering College (any course)?

sadafreen356 7th Nov, 2024

Among Sri Sairam Engineering College, Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, Veltech College, and Panimalar Engineering College Veltech College generally has a higher cutoff for most courses because of high level of competitiveness for admission compared to the other three institutions.

However, the exact cutoff for each course will depend on the specific program and the year of admission like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and communication engineering has low cutoff for MBC DNC CATEGORY in 2023 less than 150 score so you might get admission in these streams in any of stated colleges.

Hope this helps

kumardurgesh1802 7th Nov, 2024

Hello there,

The paramedical board exams in Karnataka for the Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology (DOT) , which falls under the paramedical courses, are conducted by the Karnataka Paramedical Board. Here’s a general guide on the process and details:

  1. Exam Schedule : The exams are usually scheduled semi-annually, with dates announced by the Karnataka Paramedical Board. Typically, exams happen in June and December. You should regularly check with your institute or the official board website for the exact dates each year.

  2. Syllabus & Subjects : The DOT curriculum includes subjects like anatomy and physiology of the eye, optics, refraction, eye diseases, and clinical ophthalmology. Practical exams are also part of the evaluation.

  3. Admit Card : For each exam session, students need to download or collect their admit cards from their respective institutes or the board's online portal. This document is essential for entry to the exam center.

  4. Results and Certification : Post-examination, the results are declared online. Successful candidates receive a diploma certification from the Karnataka Paramedical Board, qualifying them for entry-level roles in eye care and ophthalmology clinics.

  5. Career Prospects : After DOT, graduates can work as ophthalmic assistants or technicians in hospitals, clinics, or specialized eye care centers, assisting ophthalmologists with patient care and diagnostic testing.

Ensure you are enrolled with a Karnataka Paramedical Board-recognized institution to be eligible for official board exams and certification.

Can I be able to change my EWS issue date in correction window in December as per recent details after April 1st 2024.... I now applied for jee main by entering by EWS old issue date 06-06-2023 ....?

Deepti Singh 7th Nov, 2024

Helllo,

You can update your date of issue on an EWS certificate while there is a correction window for JEE Main. The National Testing Agency usually throws open such a window for updating fields like reservation category details, on which all applicants get updates in their application forms, including an EWS certificate. The correction window for the 2024 JEE cycle will open in December 2023 and again in January 2024. Here is your opportunity to update the issue date of EWS certificate; if any certificate issued after April 1, 2024, is not updated currently in your application.

For corrections on EWS or other categories, one can check the update announcements from the official site of JEE Main or Careers360 before availing the correction dates and guidelines.

For information about the correction process, have a look at the official guidance on Careers360: JEE Main correction window details on Careers360
