is BCA students eligible for GATE ?

Sajal Trivedi 2nd Oct, 2024

Hello aspirant,

BCA students are not qualified to apply for GATE.
On the other hand, individuals pursuing an MCA after completing their BCA are deemed qualified to sit for the GATE exams. It is argued that the BCA syllabus does not provide the solid basis in courses like physics and chemistry that M. Tech students need, which is why MCA is necessary. GATE exams are available to MCA students in their second and third year.

Sajal Trivedi 2nd Oct, 2024

Hello aspirant,

The acronym B.Arch stands for Bachelor of Architecture. BArch is an undergraduate professional degree that takes five years to complete. It is within the purview of planning and architecture. Environmental design, structural engineering, building construction, and architectural design are all covered in BArch course program.
Applicants for the BArch program must have completed Class 12 or its equivalent in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics). Applicants can obtain admission to the degree by taking entrance tests including MHT CET, JEE Main, NATA, CUCET, and AAT. sir upsosb counselling me koi dikkat toh nhi ho gye sir ? upsosb valid hai jossa counselling koi dikkat toh nhi ho gye sir ?

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

The Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board (UPSOSB) is a recognized board for open schooling, offering flexible learning opportunities to students who may not follow the regular schooling system. However, when it comes to admission and counseling processes like **JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority)**, which manages admissions to IITs, NITs, and other central institutions through JEE Mains and JEE Advanced scores, the recognition of the qualifying board is crucial.

If you have completed your 12th from UPSOSB, it is important to ensure that the board is recognized by the **Ministry of Education** and is included in the list of eligible boards mentioned by JoSAA. As long as UPSOSB is recognized by the authorities that govern the admissions process, you should not face any issues during the JoSAA counseling.

However, to be completely sure, you can verify the recognition status of UPSOSB on the official JoSAA or National Testing Agency (NTA) websites or directly inquire with the JoSAA helpdesk. If UPSOSB is recognized, then you should be able to participate in the counseling process without any problems.

In summary, if UPSOSB is recognized, there should be no issue, but it's wise to double-check the specific requirements of JoSAA.

I got selected in 1st list of MScPhysics but didnt attend the counselling, now all the waiting lists have come and the spot round is over(which didnt contain MScPhysics since seats were full). But i came in contact with one person who vacated his seat just today are there any chances for me now?

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

It’s a challenging situation, but there might still be a possibility. Since the person vacated their seat in the MSc Physics program, the vacancy should ideally be filled if the institution has a formal process for handling such cases after the official rounds (including the spot round) have concluded. Here’s what you can do:

1. **Contact the Admissions Office Immediately**: Reach out to the admissions or counseling office and inform them about the vacated seat. Mention that you were selected in the first list and are still interested in securing a spot. Vacancies created by seat withdrawals may sometimes lead to additional rounds or manual allotment, depending on the institution’s policy.

2. **Provide Documentation**: If you have any proof of selection (offer letter, confirmation email), keep that ready and express your continued interest in the program.

3. **Check for Reopening**: Occasionally, if seats open up after all rounds, universities may conduct another short round of admissions or allocate seats manually to those who missed out.

4. **Stay Persistent**: Follow up regularly with the admissions office as decisions on such matters may be made quickly.

While it’s not guaranteed, there’s a chance you could still secure the seat if handled promptly.

hope this helps you!!

i confused to choose between RCCIIT & NSEC for MCA admission....which college demand low attendance and which college have higher placement chance...pls help anyone

Kanishka kaushikii 2nd Oct, 2024

Hello aspirant,

The choice between RCCIIT and NSEC for MCA admission depends on your individual priorities and preferences. Here's a comparison of the two colleges based on attendance requirements and placement chances:

Attendance Requirements:

  • RCCIIT: While I don't have specific information about RCCIIT's attendance policy for MCA, generally, private colleges in India tend to be more flexible with attendance compared to government institutions. However, it's always best to confirm this directly with the college.
  • NSEC: As a government-funded institute, NSEC may have stricter attendance requirements. They might have a minimum attendance percentage that needs to be maintained to be eligible for exams or placements.

Placement Chances:

  • RCCIIT: RCCIIT has a good reputation for placements, especially in the IT and software industry. They have a dedicated placement cell that helps students secure jobs in top companies.
  • NSEC: Being a premier institute, NSEC also has a strong track record for placements. Their alumni have been placed in top companies across various sectors.

Other Factors to Consider:

Hiii Maine all india 2 round seat admission le liya hai to o cancel krke state 2 round me admission Lena chahta hu hoga kya

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

If you have already secured a seat in the All India 2nd round of admissions and now wish to cancel it to participate in the State 2nd round, it is essential to follow the proper procedure to ensure a smooth transition. Here’s what you should consider:

1. **Cancellation Process**: First, check the official guidelines of the institution or the admission authority regarding the cancellation of your All India seat. Usually, there will be a formal procedure to follow, which may include filling out a cancellation form and notifying the admissions office.

2. **Refund Policies**: Understand the refund policies associated with the cancellation. Depending on the institution, you may or may not receive a refund of the admission fees, especially if the cancellation is done after a certain date.

3. **State Admission Eligibility**: Ensure that you are eligible for the State 2nd round admissions. Check the specific requirements and deadlines for applying to the State quota, as they may differ from the All India process.

4. **Timeliness**: Act quickly to avoid missing out on the State round opportunities. Make sure to complete all necessary steps before the deadline set by the State admission authority.

5. **Documentation**: Keep a record of all communications regarding the cancellation and new application, as you might need these for reference during the State admission process.

By following these steps, you can successfully cancel your current admission and participate in the State 2nd round of admissions.

when is the admission for LLB college and after applying the application what is the process

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

The admission process for LLB programs typically begins in the months of **April to June**, depending on the college or university. Entrance exams like **CLAT (Common Law Admission Test)**, **AILET (All India Law Entrance Test)**, or state-level exams such as **MH CET Law** usually take place during this period. After clearing the entrance exam, you can apply to various law colleges based on your rank or score.

Here’s the general admission process:

1. **Application Submission**: After the entrance exam results, you will need to submit your application to the college or university. This usually includes uploading documents like your entrance scorecard, 10th and 12th certificates, and other required documents.

2. **Counseling**: Most colleges conduct counseling sessions where seats are allotted based on your rank, choice of college, and availability. In some cases, interviews may also be conducted.

3. **Seat Allotment**: After counseling, seats are allotted to eligible candidates. You’ll need to confirm your admission by paying the required fees.

4. **Document Verification**: Once the seat is allotted, document verification is the final step, after which you can secure your spot in the college.

As Mahatma Gandhi once said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Law, being a service-oriented profession, will help you contribute to society while securing a fulfilling career path.
