I have completed my graduation (B.sc perfusion technology ) this year and i wanted to go forward in post graduation in nuclear medicine ....Is that possible?

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

Yes, pursuing a postgraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine after completing your graduation in B.Sc. Perfusion Technology is possible. However, it will depend on the specific eligibility criteria of the universities or institutions offering the program.

Most institutions offering a postgraduate program in Nuclear Medicine require candidates to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiology, Medical Imaging, or other health sciences. Some colleges may consider graduates from allied health sciences, like Perfusion Technology, if they have a strong foundation in subjects like biology, physics, and chemistry.

To improve your chances of eligibility, consider the following:

1. **Eligibility Criteria**: Research the admission criteria of various institutions to see if they accept B.Sc. Perfusion Technology graduates. Some may require additional bridge courses or certifications.

2. **Entrance Exams**: Many programs may have entrance exams as part of their admission process. Prepare for these if required.

3. **Related Experience**: If you have experience in the medical field or exposure to diagnostic technologies, highlight that in your applications.

In summary, while it’s possible, carefully researching the specific requirements of different institutions is key to making an informed decision.

Can you study science with archaeology

Deepti Singh 2nd Oct, 2024

Hello,

Yeah, you may do science accompanied by archaeology. Archaeology is a multidisciplinary field and to gain further knowledge about history, it needs to be combined along with other scientific disciplines. Many branches of science are connected with archaeology too, such as biology, chemistry, physics, and geology.

For example, the archaeological science applies methods like carbon dating (chemistry), DNA analysis (biology), and remote sensing (physics) to retrieve information related to earlier civilizations. If one is interested in both science and archaeology then, one can opt for a course in archaeology and archaeometry, it is an application of scientific methods to problems in archaeology.

Learning science along with archaeology brings within one's career scope and opportunities in forensic archaeology, paleobotany, and environmental archaeology, where bodies and other remains alongside environmental data are analyzed.

Universities allow for joint or interdisciplinary courses in order to complement archaeology with science, and this is a good and well-rounded education that would really be helpful when making studies in the field.

what is the aspected cutt of persentage in class 12 for getting admisiion in bsc forensic science ?? if i get 75% then can i get admitted

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

The expected cutoff percentage for admission to a B.Sc. in Forensic Science can vary significantly depending on the college and its location. Generally, reputed institutions may set their cutoff between 60% and 80%. Some universities may have higher cutoffs for competitive programs, especially if they are well-regarded or have limited seats.

If you achieve a score of 75% in your Class 12 examinations, you stand a good chance of gaining admission to many colleges offering B.Sc. in Forensic Science. However, keep in mind that admission can also depend on other factors such as:

1. **Entrance Exams**: Some institutions may require you to pass an entrance exam specific to forensic science or a general science entrance test.

2. **Reservation Policies**: Different colleges have reservation policies that may affect the cutoff for various categories.

3. **Application Pool**: The competitiveness of the application pool in a given year can influence cutoffs.

In summary, while a 75% score in Class 12 can be competitive for many colleges, it's essential to research specific institutions and their requirements. Consider applying to multiple colleges to enhance your chances of admission.
