i got allotment a college that is first option in first allotment of keam will my other choice cancel in keam . i would like to edit option in second allotment but option confirmation icon not seen in keam why

monag2673 30th Sep, 2024

If you received an allotment for your first choice in the first round of KEAM, your other choices will typically be canceled. Once you accept a seat, the remaining options you selected in your application are usually rendered invalid. This means that you are committed to the college you were allotted, and you will not be able to retain those other choices for future allotments.

Regarding the inability to see the option confirmation icon for editing your choices in the second allotment, several factors could be at play:

1. **Status of Allotment**: If you have already accepted the first allotment, the system may restrict changes to your options as you are committed to that college.

2. **Portal Maintenance**: There might be temporary technical issues or scheduled maintenance on the KEAM portal that prevents access to certain features.

3. **Eligibility Criteria**: Ensure that you are within the designated time frame for editing options and that you meet any necessary requirements.

To resolve this, you may want to refresh the portal, check for any official announcements, or contact the KEAM helpdesk for clarification on your editing options and any technical issues you may be facing. For more information, visit the [official KEAM website](https://cee.kerala.gov.in/).

hope this helps you!!

Sajal Trivedi 30th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

It all depends on what you feel. If you feel that your marks have been deducted unnecessarily and you would have scored better then you should definitely go for re-evaluation.  But generally the chances of increase in score after re-evaluation are not very high.

Thank you

Hope it helps you

I got 832 in pgcet MCA and my caste is vokkaliga 3A ,which college will i I get

monag2673 30th Sep, 2024

With a PGCET MCA rank of 832 and belonging to the Vokkaliga 3A category, you stand a good chance of getting into reputable colleges in Karnataka. The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) cutoff ranks for MCA admissions vary based on the college, category, and location.

Colleges that often have cutoffs around your rank for MCA (in the Vokkaliga 3A category) include:

1. **RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bangalore**: One of the top options, though the cutoff can sometimes be competitive, especially for high-demand courses.

2. **Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT)**: Known for its good faculty and infrastructure, it's another strong contender in Bangalore.

3. **MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology**: A well-known college with strong placement opportunities, often a top choice for students around your rank.

4. **PES University (PESU)**: Though competitive, you might stand a chance here based on your category.

5. **Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur**: A popular choice for students from nearby regions.

6. **BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore**: A reputed institution with MCA programs that have a slightly higher cutoff but worth considering.

These colleges offer quality MCA programs, but it's important to check the specific cutoffs for your category as they can fluctuate yearly. Keep an eye on counseling updates for better clarity.

Sir me apani admission ricept ko dubara print karvana chahata hu kya meri ricept phir se mil sakti hai me shivansh Singh parmar

monag2673 30th Sep, 2024

Shivansh, if you want to reprint your admission receipt, you will need to contact the institute or university where you were admitted. Most institutions provide online portals where you can download or reprint previous receipts or documents.

First, check the official website of your institute and log in to the student portal using your registration number and password. From there, you may find an option to reprint or download your receipt if it is available.

If you are unable to find the receipt online, you should contact the admission office of your institute directly. You can either visit the office in person or reach out via phone or email. By providing them with your registration number or any other relevant identification proof, they can help you issue a duplicate receipt.

The process may vary depending on the institute, but in most cases, they will be able to provide you with a copy of your receipt. It is best to contact the admission department as soon as possible to get the exact procedure and resolve the issue quickly.

hope this helps you!!

  2. Check Their Website: Most colleges have their admission information and deadlines posted on their websites. Look for a section dedicated to admissions or the specific program you're interested in.
  3. Consider Alternative Options: If the deadline for the college you prefer has passed, explore other colleges or universities in your area that offer automobile mechanical engineering programs. You might find one with a later deadline or alternative admission pathways.

for viva is attendance is compulsory

Kanishka kaushikii 30th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Attendance is generally compulsory for vivas. Vivas are typically conducted in person, and your presence is essential for the examiner to assess your understanding and knowledge of the subject matter.

However, there might be exceptional circumstances where absence from a viva is allowed, such as:

  • Medical reasons: If you are unable to attend due to a medical condition, you might need to provide a medical certificate as proof.
  • Family emergencies: In cases of family emergencies, you might be granted permission to miss the viva, but you may need to provide documentation or evidence.

I hope this information helps you.
