can i directly participate in neet round 3 after round 1, skipping round 2 even if i was not alloted any seat? do i have to again pay 2 lakh security deposit? and if not will i get back my security deposit?

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. I hope you're doing well.

Yes, you can directly participate in NEET Round 3 (also known as the Mop-Up round) even if you skipped Round 2, provided you were not allotted any seat in Round 1. You don’t need to pay the Rs.2 lakh security deposit again if you have already paid it for the previous rounds, as it will carry forward. However, if you don’t get a seat even after Round 3, the security deposit will be refunded to you, usually within a specific period after the completion of the counseling process.

Let me know if you need any further clarification or additional information.

I got 424 marks 2024 , can I get free seat in nims ?

Jefferson 29th Sep, 2024

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to Careers360. Hope you're doing well! With a score of 424 in NEET 2024, securing a free seat at NIMS (Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences) might be challenging since the cut-off marks for government quota seats tend to be higher, especially in general categories. However, exact cut-offs can vary depending on your category, state quota, and seat availability.

If you'd like, I can help you check more specific details based on your category and other factors. Let me know if you'd like to explore alternative options or any other queries related to college admissions!

can i be in nda wings by taking basic maths and what all subjects should i take

Deepti Singh 28th Sep, 2024

Hello,

To join the NDA (National Defence Academy), you are required to appear for an entrance exam conducted by UPSC. For the Army wing, candidates can apply with any stream, including basic mathematics. However, for the Air Force and Navy wings, Mathematics and Physics are mandatory subjects in your 10+2.

Even if you're considering basic mathematics, it is advisable to take Science subjects, especially Physics and Chemistry, if you're aiming for the technical branches or Air Force/Navy wings. In addition to core subjects, improving your general knowledge, English, and reasoning skills is essential, as they are part of the NDA written exam.

If you're focused on the Army wing, a combination of basic mathematics with subjects that interest you can work, but opting for advanced mathematics and science will keep more options open for all branches.

Respected Sir/Mam I am having two marksheets original with all 5 subjects and second one with 3 subjects(Improvement) How should I calculate my percentage for taking admission in University?

sadafreen356 28th Sep, 2024

Out of the two the best number is taken in the main exam and improvement exam, rest the number of different subjects are taken from main exam and then divide it with total number*100 you get your result.

Note-if you have 50 marks in physics in original one and in improvement you have 90 or some other figure then the new marks will be considered for total percentage.

Enquiry for Carrier counseling after 10th standard

Deepti Singh 28th Sep, 2024

Hello,

Your career decisions after 10th standard would create a roadmap to your future life. So, begin by evaluating your interest, your strengths, and long-term goals. If you are more interested in scientific and technological matters, Science PCM or PCB might be an excellent choice for you since it can lead to a good career in engineering or medicine or research. Similarly, if you can be interested in a commercial environment, the Commerce stream might orient you toward being an accountant, management expert, or finance expert. The Arts stream is most suited if you feel enthusiastic towards subjects like humanities, social sciences, or the creative fields.

Along with vocation courses and diplomas, one can even take hands-on training in IT as well as other streams like hospitality and design. It is recommended that a candidate researches multiple streams, refers to his or her career counselor, and discusses it with professionals in different fields that interest him. After all, remember, it's a job you are going to be doing for the rest of your life, and you're only going to do it well if it corresponds to what you are passionate and capable of.
