Sajal Trivedi 24th Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

NEET is one of the toughest exam in India and getting admissions in top colleges with 390 marks is quite difficult even with state quota and reservation benefits. You can get the admissions in private colleges with these marks. But I suggest you to prepare hard and try to get the government colleges next year.

I have an OBC NCL certificate but my salary has increased this yearband my average income for 3 years has exceeded 8 lakh/ annum.my don is appearing for JEE under OBC category ? Do you think he will face issues with eligibility later?

Ashita Singh 24th Sep, 2024

Hi Avanish,

Yes, there can be an issue regarding the OBC (NCL) eligibility. As per the guidelines, to qualify for the OBC-NCL category, the family's annual income should be below RS 8 lakh per year. If your average income for the past three years exceeds RS 8 lakh, your family may fall into the "upper layer or creamy layer" category, which would not allow your son from applying under the OBC-NCL category.

However, if your salary increase is recent and the average of the past three years still remains under Rs. 8 lakh, then he might still be eligible for the OBC-NCL benefits. It is crucial to verify the exact average income and consult the latest government notifications or a legal expert for confirmation on this matter.

Is there a possibility to get ms ent at 105497 rank

Juee Hote 24th Sep, 2024

With an All India Quota (AIQ) rank of 105,497, it is highly unlikely to secure a seat in MS ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) at most colleges. MS ENT is a competitive specialty, and cut-off ranks are generally much lower due to limited seats and high demand.

Options to Consider:

Private Colleges: You may have a chance in private medical colleges, especially under management quota, but this often comes with higher tuition fees.

Alternative Specialties: Consider applying for other less competitive specialties where your rank may be more favorable.

Future Attempts: If you are determined to pursue MS ENT, consider preparing for the next NEET exam to improve your rank.

For the best guidance, check with the specific colleges or counseling authorities regarding the latest cut-off trends .

Sir my name is harish jayakumar in class 10,12 marksheet and aadhar card. My fathers name is jayakumar. But it is J. Harish in birth certificate, income certificate, obc ncl certificate and community certificate. Will this cause any problem during josaa counselling sir. If yes what is the solution

Deepti Singh 24th Sep, 2024

Hello,

Yes, the mismatch in the way your name is presented (Harish Jayakumar vs. J. Harish) could cause issues during JoSAA counseling or other admission processes, as authorities typically require consistency across all documents.

Possible Solutions:

  1. Affidavit for Name Consistency : You can create a sworn affidavit stating that both "Harish Jayakumar" and "J. Harish" refer to the same person. This affidavit can be submitted during the counseling process.

  2. Gazette Notification : If you want to officially correct the name on documents, you can apply for a name change through the government gazette. This process will legally recognize the correct version of your name.

  3. Name Correction in Documents : If possible, you could reach out to the respective authorities (school board, municipal office, etc.) to request a correction on the documents where the inconsistency exists.

Make sure to consult with the JoSAA help desk or legal counsel if needed to ensure that your documentation is in order before counseling.

Thankyou

how many chances are there to get admission in bsc paramedical at pgi chandigarh at 45 percentile

Juee Hote 24th Sep, 2024

If you scored in the 45th percentile on NEET or any other equivalent entrance test, your prospects of being accepted into PGI Chandigarh's B.Sc. Paramedical programme may be restricted. Due to demand and competition, popular courses at reputable universities like PGI typically have higher cutoffs.

Things to Take Into Account:

Previous Year's Deadlines: To determine your prospects, look at the previous year's cutoff ranks for PGI Chandigarh's B.Sc. Paramedical courses.

List of merits: Merit-based admissions are common, therefore how you do in comparison to other applicants is important.

The Process of Counselling: Take part in the counselling procedure so that you can look at available seats.

A 45 percentile could make it difficult.

Do they ask you to sign manually when we give nmat exam or they just ask for id proof that has signature to show for eg. passport or pan card?

Deepti Singh 24th Sep, 2024

Hello Vaish!

When you sit for NMAT, it does take a strict process of identity verification. That can be done as follows:

  • Keep valid ID proof with your signature on it such as your passport or PAN card, etc. ID issued by the government with your photo and signature would be considered acceptable. The same will be cross-checked at the time of reaching the test center.
  • Digital Signature: These days, their digital signature is quite abundantly collected through the check-in process, which is made on a digital pad or on a device.
  • Manual Signature: They may at times ask for your manual signature on an attendance sheet, as proof of your presence during the test.

However, kindly refer to the guidelines by the NMAT exam authorities or the test center for specific information.
