The registration for the first round of NEET PG 2024 counseling commenced on 20th September, 2024, and will be conducted online through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website. However, there hasn't been any official announcement regarding an extension for the first round registration as of now. 1.) National Institute of Technology ( NITs )-

• Each NIT offering MCA may have around 30-60 seats in total, out of which a certain percentage (typically around 50-60%) is reserved for General category students.

2.) Universities -

• State universities may have around 30-120 seats for MCA courses. The number of General category seats is determined after applying the reservation policies of the state.

3.) Private institutions-

• Private colleges often have more flexibility in terms of seats, ranging from 60 to 180 seats or more, depending on the institution. In such cases, the General category seats could be a significant portion of the total intake.
