Juee Hote 24th Sep, 2024

If you want to enrol in Class 11 Commerce this September instead of waiting another year, you can:

Look for Boards or institutions with Open Admissions: Locate boards or institutions that still have open admissions (such as the National Institute of Open Schooling, or NIO).

Get in touch with schools directly: Even in the latter part of the year, some private schools or online learning environments may still take new students.

Select distant Education: Look into online colleges or distant learning initiatives that provide flexible start and end da tes.

Gp bhagalpur ka cutoff kitna hai

Deepti Singh 20th Sep, 2024

Hello Ayush!

The cutoff for Government Polytechnic Bhagalpur varies every year due to various reasons such as the number of applicants, entrance exam difficulty level, and reservation on category-wise grounds. We can get an idea of it by looking at the trends of previous years.

1. General Category:

  • For general category students, a higher cutoff is seen generally for branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, among many others.
  • Opening rank in all the above popular branches is between 2,000 to 8,000 under any state-level polytechnic entrance exam through Bihar Polytechnic (DCECE).
  • Closing rank can vary from 15,000 to 25,000 depending on the demand of the concerned branch.

2. Reserved Categories

  • Cut-offs tend to be low for students who fall in the OBC, SC, ST, and EBC categories, which helps them get an edge over others.
  • Opening rank for the reserved categories could be in the range of 5,000 to 10,000 by branch.
  • Closing rank could be as high as 30,000 or above in some of the least competitive branches.

3. Branch-wise Cutoff:

  • Civil, Mech. and Electrical Engineering are those with higher demand and, therefore with higher cutoffs.
  • Computer Science/Electronics- less competitive may be slightly lower.

4. Factors Influencing the Cutoff:

  • Availability of seats, applicant preferences, and earlier year trends all play a significant role in deciding the exact cut-off every year.

Government Polytechnic Bhagalpur admissions are given based on decent rank, especially for popular branches and categories. For reserved categories, cut-offs are softer where it is open to a wider range of ranks.

Is there any chance of getting govt. med. col. in UP through state quota round 2 my AIR is 24590 from general category with UP domicile

Deepti Singh 20th Sep, 2024

Hello Sudhir!

Assess how likely to get into a government medical college in Uttar Pradesh with state quota Round 2 with an All India Rank of 24,590 by NEET.

Considerations:

1. Previous Year Cutoffs:

  • Government Colleges in Uttar Pradesh generally have to cut off for the state quota and every year.
  • For an AIR of around 24,590, you can estimate the probability by looking at the cutoffs of Round 2 from the previous year.
  • Essentially for the best government medical colleges, the cutoffs would float around between AIR 5,000 and 20,000 for a general category candidate, and less competitive colleges could have their cutoffs floating well beyond the AIR 20,000.

2. Category:

  • General Category: The cutoff for the general category is typically higher, and getting a government college is comparatively tougher but not impossible. Cutoff in the smaller districts or newly set up ones can be a little low.
  • OBC/SC/ST/Other Categories: For the people belonging to the reserved categories, cutoffs tend to be low, which means that the probability of getting a seat in Round 2 would be much higher.

3. Vacancy in Round 2:

  • In round 2 seats fall vacant that were not allotted in the first round, and at least some of them may not report, which increases the number of seats in round 2.
  • Candidates who were better ranked, often give up their government seat for All India Quota or some other private colleges, which favors the better-ranked candidates.

4. College Preferences:

  • It might be a little difficult if you want to get admission into the top colleges like KGMC Lucknow or BHU. However, if you want mid-tier or new colleges, your rank would suffice.

So, summing it up, even though it's a cutthroat competition, you still have a fair chance to get college admission based on the category and the preferred college.

Thankyou!

What is DEB ID . It is compulsory can create a every student or not ,rather than they studies our university OR DOING A UG OR PG PROGRAM.

Jefferson 21st Sep, 2024

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to Careers360 with your question about DEB ID.

DEB ID stands for Distance Education Bureau Identification. It's a unique ID assigned by the Distance Education Bureau of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to students enrolled in distance education programs.

To answer your question - no, not every student needs to create a DEB ID. It's only required for students pursuing distance education or online programs approved by the UGC-DEB. If you're studying in a regular on-campus program at a university, you don't need to worry about getting a DEB ID.

Is there a particular reason you're asking about this? Are you considering a distance education program? If so, I'd be happy to provide some more information or suggest some good options if you let me know what subject you're interested in.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I already wrote Gate in 2024 and got a decent score in the DS AI domain. I wanted to give it again this year, but I am confused about which paper to write. I want to pursue a career in the AI ML domain, so which is a better option: writing CS and IT and taking AI courses in college or directly writing DS and AI papers again? (I am currently a 4rth year BTech in CSE dept) Thank You for the answer & is there any website/counsellors to contact on this topic

Jefferson 20th Sep, 2024

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. Congrats on your decent score in the DS AI domain for GATE 2024 - that's awesome!

I totally get your dilemma about which paper to write for GATE this year. It's a tough choice, especially when you're eyeing a career in AI/ML.

Based on your goals, writing the DS and AI paper again could be a solid option. It directly aligns with your career plans and you've already got experience with it. Plus, you might improve your score since you know what to expect now.

That said, the CS and IT paper could give you a broader knowledge base, which some top AI/ML programs appreciate. You could always supplement with AI courses later.

Honestly, both paths can lead you to an AI/ML career. The best choice depends on which specific programs you're targeting and how confident you feel in each subject area.

For personalized advice, you might want to check out our GATE counselling services on the Careers360 website . We've got experts who can dive deep into your specific situation.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else. Good luck with your GATE prep!

After the recent revised cut off of mds 2024, i looked for applying eligibility certificate from mgr university but it seems like the application has been closed my doubt is if there any further state counselling happens how do we get in without mgr university eligibility certificate

Jefferson 20th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to Careers360 about this. I understand your concern about the MDS 2024 situation.

Oof, that's a tricky spot you're in with the MGR University eligibility certificate application being closed. I can see why you're worried about future state counselling.

To be honest, the eligibility certificate is usually pretty crucial for state counselling. But don't panic just yet - sometimes there are exceptions or alternative processes, especially if there have been recent changes to cut-offs or timelines.

Here's what I'd suggest:

1. Try contacting MGR University directly. They might have some guidance for students in your situation.

2. Keep an eye out for any announcements from the state counselling authority. They might address this issue if other students are in the same boat.

3. It might be worth checking with other MDS aspirants or recent candidates on forums or social media groups. Sometimes other students have helpful info or workarounds.

If you'd like, I can try to find some more specific information about the MDS counselling process in your state. Just let me know if that would be helpful.

Hang in there! These admission processes can be stressful, but there's often a solution if we dig a bit deeper.
