How many marks required for mnit allahabad

Mitali Sharma 16th Jan, 2025

Hello

To get admission to MNNIT Allahabad (Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology) . the required marks depend on several factors, including your category, home state quota and the branch you wish to pursue.

Here's a general idea based on recent trends:

General Category

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): 180–200+

Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): 160–180+

Mechanical Engineering: 140–160+

Civil Engineering: 120–140+

Other Branches: 100–140+

OBC Category

CSE: 150–170+

ECE: 140–160+

Other Branches: 90–140+

SC/ST Category

CSE: 100–130+

ECE: 80–110+

Other Branches: 50–100+

Key Factors Affecting Cutoffs

1. Home State vs. Other State Quota: Lower ranks are required for candidates under the home state quota.

2. Branch Preference: High-demand branches like CSE and ECE require higher ranks.

3. Seat Availability: Changes in the number of seats can affect cutoffs.

4. JEE Main Normalization: Marks may vary slightly based on exam difficulty and session-wise normalization.

Hope this information helps you .

Thank you

For MNNIT or Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Prayagraj, you need to score well in the JEE Mains. You should atleast score a 75%+ in the plus 2 examination and your rank in your state must be in top 20 percentile.

A safe score would be 85%+ in the plus 2 examination and a top 15 percentile in your state.
