Hello,

The cut-off marks vary in each year depending on various factors, such as how the entrance exam has been; how many people had actually applied; and seat vacancies available for admission in Class 9 to Sainik School Manasbal, Jammu and Kashmir for students belonging to the ST category. There are no reports on the cut-off marks announced for the year 2025, but considering earlier years, the cut-off of ST candidates has remained generally lesser than the cut-off of the general candidates.

Approximate calculation for that:

To understand the accurate cut-off for the year 2025 once it has been released with results, you may refer the following ways,

  1. Visit the website of Sainik School Manasbal
  2. Request from the school authorities in regards to the same.
  3. Visit frequently on the official pages for any notifications given out by the Sainik Schools Society.

my class 10th marksheet do not have surname but all other documents like marksheet, caste certificate, state family id have surname . I need to fill jee mains 2025 form what should I do . also I have requested school to mail cbse regarding correction in my 10th marksheet.please help

Deepti Singh 5th Nov, 2024

Hello,

In case you have no surname mentioned on your Class 10th marksheet but every other document has it, make sure the name is correctly uniform everywhere and also while appearing for exams like JEE Mains. Here is how you can do:

  • Wait for the Response from CBSE: Since you have already requested your school to send a mail to CBSE for correction, wait for their response. CBSE may update your marksheet by including your surname, which will match with your other documents.
  • In case the corrected marksheet does not reach you before the closing date of the JEE Main 2025 application form then you can submit your application using your name since it will be there on your 10th marksheet. You can correct the details of your application form if there's a need for it within the correction window.
  • Carry photocopies of all documents that bear your surname, including caste certificate, state ID, etc. For verification, it might come in handy.
  • Affidavit of Name Consistency: This affidavit can be made where it will be established that both the names carrying the surname and not carrying the surname refer to the same individual. It may be produced at the time of admission for verification purposes, if required.
  • Follow up: Keep follow-up with your school and CBSE at regular intervals to speed up the correction process.

This will see you well through to JEE Mains and any further admission processes.

Percentage required for admission in 1

Deepti Singh 5th Nov, 2024

Hello,

If it's the case of the percentage requirement for admission to Class 1 in schools like Sainik Schools or any other schools, then it is pretty minimum in usual terms. The main criteria for getting admitted into Class 1 is mostly age-related and not the academic percentage since it's at the initial point in their school life.

General Guidelines

  • Age Criterion: Most schools take children in Class 1 at an age ranging between 5-7 years.
  • Assessment: Some schools would undertake a basic entrance test or interaction to assess the child's preparedness for Class 1.

Class 1 admissions are rarely specific to academic performance or percentage requirements. The most reliable course of action would be to visit the school's website or contact the admissions office.
